Excellent resource for local home grown beef and pork products and it supports the local farming community. Store is neat and well stocked. Gal that runs it is super friendly and we had a great conversation when I first shopped here a few weeks ago. It’s gonna be a little more expensive than the Grocery store but you know where you meat is coming from, a calf literally walked up to me when I parked for a pet. Support local farms and keep your dollars here!
The lady there was super nice to me and helpful. I even got a recipe idea from her lol. Bought some baby back ribs from here and cooked them for my family. They were extremely great tasting. All of their beef and pork is grass fed on local farms. If you are like me and want some natural meat not pumped with antibiotics then get your meat from here
Meat is high-quality and local. They listen to customers and answer questions honestly. Pricing is higher than Walmart and Costco, but the supermarket meat was probably fed moldy feed and finished on Skittles or other such nonsense. This meat is grass fed, grain finished and you get to meet the people who care for these animals. Feed your family well at Mappes.
The best beef and pork in central Oklahoma. Tiny market on local generational farm. My first stop shop for grass fed meat.
Our family has been purchasing Mappes pork for over a decade and in the last 3 years we started getting our beef here too. I will never go back to buying store bought meat EVER. You can taste the difference!
