Lyle C. Tabb & Sons will take your grass clippings for free (Jefferson County dump will charge you). You can also drop off pre-mulched branches for free as well. They do charge a nominal fee if you bring whole branches, trees, and other scrap wood. Their grass drop off is right in front, and their wood drop off is further in the back.
The great crew from Tabb (Howard and Lance) picked up a lot of stumps from our lot for a very reasonable price and very efficiently. Cannot rate their service highly enough!

No waiting in line for a hour. You pay by the trust system. You can even drop your grass clippings for free anytime of day at the very front.
Great place to get mulch, topsoil and compost for yard & garden.
