Lum Farm on Coffelt Farm Preserve

A hidden gem on the island! Come for the local and high quality goods (specifically the goat milk ice cream!) and stay for the self guided farm walk. We saw baby goats, cows, and piglets!

A visit to Orcas is not complete unless you hit up the Lum farm food stand. There are options for a self guided farm tour, petting zoo, as well as a stocked shop with the best goat cheese, fresh eggs, and a whole freezer full of delicious farm raised meats. There are seasonal specials and if your lucky someone on the farm has had babies! The goat milk cajeta is to die for. Enjoy!

High quality!! We stopped by one night for some steaks and immediately returned the next day because the quality was so good. Easily some of the best ice cream I've ever eaten.

Friendly farm that let us meet their goats and sheep! We walked away with a number of high quality items raised on their farm: chicken eggs, goat chops, lamb sausage, chevre and goat milk ice cream.

The meat quality, customer experience, and overall time spent here was amazing. A must stop along your Orcas Island journeys. We came back for more meat and ice cream. We will definitely be coming back!

What a cute farm and farm shop. We just happen to stop by chance but ended up staying for ages. Very friendly and sharing. Walked out with the most amazing cheeses. Yum! I will be back to buy one of the sheep skins one day.

How can I give this place a 6 star rating? Wonderful warm people and the best goat, lamb and grass -fed beef ever! Also the pork. And the broiler chickens. And did I say the eggs? I never knew that eggs came in so many colors! Recently, Lum Farm also started selling incredibly good cheese under the venerable Myers brand, and goat milk cajeta. Get some now! I'm so delighted to be able to shop here! And thank you for keeping me and my family well fed.

Such a fantastic find on Orcas Island! In addition to eggs they also offer chevre, herbed chevre, and goat milk ice cream, along with fresh meats. On weekends there is a petting zoo for the little children and a walking tour of the farm. You and your children will be delighted by the antics of the kid goats. You can order items online and they will be packaged for pick up at your convenience. There is also a small gift shop with wool items and wool, jellies, cards, and games, among other things. Lum's Farm Stand is a must.

We spent a magical afternoon taking a tour of Lum Farm. They were so generous in involving us in the life of this beautiful working farm, from collecting eggs to bottle feeding baby goats. The love and care they give their animals is reflected in the quality of their meats and dairy products on sale in the farm stand. It is a truly special place.

We love their ice cream and cheese and the goats are amazing! It's a farm, so leave your dog at home. We learned the hard way and had a run in with two of their dogs.

A definite stop for fresh food. We picked up lamb chops, zucchini and garlic.

I haven't been there in-person yet, but hope to visit soon. I have the immense pleasure of enjoying their amazing chèvre, which I order through the SJI Food Hub. It's my special treat. Thank you, Lum Farm!!!

Wonderful friendly host. Picked some fresh peas. Nice farm animals. There was a community knitting going on in the evening.We had a lot of fun.
