The produce from Lost Lake Farms is amazing! So fresh and tasty, and I know it provides superior nourishment for my body because of how it is grown. I've been ordering food from them for several years and I'm so glad I can also get it at their farm stand.
I’ve been buying produce and pork from Lost Lake Farm for a few years now and it’s some of the best around! Their pork is THE best pastured pork in our area and the veggies are very high quality. It’s definitely worth your time to stop by the new farm stand! I haven’t been able to drive over for Tuesday pre-order pickups this winter due to our kids school schedule, so the stand is very convenient and I’m stoked they have one now.
Great arugula, kohlrabi, greens and more from farmers markets or at their farm.
Just tried the Iowa Alpine cheese at the Des Moines farmers market and it is absolutely exceptional cheese I have been spoiled in my life to live in famous dairy regions of New Zealand, Australia and now the US and this is some of the best tasting cheese I have ever had. Kudos to the cheese makers this deserves some gold medals! Looking forward to ordering more and trying some different styles.
I love Lost Lake Farm, and all the yummy produce they grow for our community. And now they have a farm stand it is super convenient to stop and get extras that I forgot to add to my weekly order. Highly recommended.
Lost Lake Farm is 5 stars for quality, taste, selection, cleanliness, and considering all that has to go into producing great organic food, we understand their pricing. If you understand that food is medicine for the long haul, you realize it's worth paying a little more for high quality. We'd be lost without Lost Lake Farm!
Getting fresh veggies locally all year long - nothing better. Except maybe the pork... my family loves it so much that they ask me to order enough for them to take it back home after a visit - it's that good.
Excellent ham. Got one for Thanksgiving and everyone at the table said it was the best they had ever had. Responsive and caring customer service. Lucky to have them in our community.
