Lockwood Ranch

My family and I are avid fans of Lockwood Ranch and their beef. They raise both Angus and Wagyu varieties and sell cuts (tongue, oxtail, heart, tri-tip, hanger, etc.) that you can rarely find at your regular grocery store. Their prices are VERY reasonable in comparison to shops that have no problem engaging in price gouging. A big plus is that you can place an order and pick it up later. Give them a chance and you won’t go back to your local supermarket for your protein.

Love the meat from here! The hanger steak is one of the best I’ve ever cooked. The coulette is really good too. Fast and easy order and pickup. So glad they are close by!

My husband has had alpha-gal for nearly 20 years. Any kind of red meat would make him break out in severe hives. A friend recommended Lockwood Ranch saying they've had a few people with alpha-gal try their beef with no reactions. I made some burgers with Lockwood Ranch beef and sure enough..zero allergic reactions! We couldn't believe it! It is safe to say they have a customer for life. We are so thankful for them and their amazing products.

The meat is excellent! If I had to offer one small criticism, it’s that the price per pound isn’t listed for many of the cuts when ordering.

We love Lockwood Ranch! The way Jeannie and Lance run everything is so though through and intentional! Their beef and eggs are fantastic! It’s the only place we buy meat here in Franklin…especially for those who are interested in buying quality beef! So great to actually know what you are eating!

Lance and Jeannie (Lockwood Ranch owners) are such great people and raise the best meat I’ve ever had. The detail and time that is spent caring for his steer and the land they are on brings out the best in his product. This is a truly regenerative ranch that is laser focused on what we are putting into your bodies from a genuine perspective, the way God had always intended. Had a chance to experience a Lockwood Ranch steak for the first time last night, prepared by the founder himself, Lance Ballard. Wow! There is a difference. The quality and flavor was the best I’ve ever had. And the story and the heart behind what they do at Lockwood is inspiring. Thanks for the amazing dinner Lance. You guys have a new customer.

Love this place! We recently moved to Franklin and have been buying from them since! Best meat we have ever had. You should try it.

Not one to bad moth farmers but terrible. Don’t recommend buying from this place. We texted these people a week and a half when they said had 18 calf’s ready. The people said not to come until a certain day then bailed good thing I texted them the day before I was going to come! And had 4 left when trying to reschedule. Absolutely disgusting to do to a farmer. I won’t take my business to this place don’t recommend any farmers too. I will be spreading the word around. .

This is some of the best beef I’ve ever had. Great quality and easy to pick up. Nothing better than supporting local. You won’t be disappointed!
