Liberty Delight Farms

I received my second home delivery order today from Liberty Farms. I can’t express enough how amazing my experience has been thus far. I’m a first timer when it comes to ordering from a local farm but this entire process, end to end, has been seamless. I sincerely appreciate the ease of online ordering, the quality of their meats/products, but mostly I appreciate their friendly customer service and courteous delivery personnel. The gentleman who calls me to confirm my order and the gentleman who has delivered both orders were great! I was definitely anxious about ordering at first but I have a newfound appreciation for supporting a local farm and I’m a very happy customer!

Swindled me today at the farmers market, she said 32.. rang up 69. Only possible explanation I can come up in my head is that she meant to say $32 a pound and not $32 for this unit. Either way, still feel swindled. No price posted on signage, so when I speak to you I expect you to be trustworthy.

We’ve been purchasing our meat from Liberty Delight the last 5 years and we love it. The home delivery is very convenient and I feel good knowing I’m feeding my family locally raised meat from a sustainable farm. Everything we get is delicious and their customer service is superb. Support your local farmers.

Best quality beef you can ask for. Liberty delight is what got me to eat meat again after nearly a decade of being vegetarian.

We drove up from Silver Spring after doing some research on local farms that produce Berkshire pork. We were thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The shop was neat, clean, and well-stocked. The young man who helped us was delightful - so helpful and friendly. As someone who goes out of her way to shop for humanely raised animal products, I asked the young man about the animals and he remarked that the animals were treated better than the humans. Provided that is true, I will be returning for sure! The boneless ham we purchased was top-tier; the only thing that would have made it better would be if it was uncured. But the young man (I wish I had recorded his name) did say that they can offer that - I assume with some advance notice. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the product. I sort of wanted to keep them as my little secret, but thought it only fair to support this wonderful family farm with a positive review.

Their meat is fresh-tasting and delicious. I've bought from them a couple times previously (randomly at the Bethesda Farmers Market) when I lived closer to them, and the ribeye was fantastically juicy! I am now putting in my second order online with them for Memorial Day weekend and can't wait. 5 stars for their beef, pork and chicken sausage and certainly exceeds any premium grocery store. Staff and communication are great, too, when they confirm your order or tell you that they've run out of something.

I am not going to lie. The new owners are a surprise and delight. I was hesitant to stop after the change of ownership from Two Farm Chicks to Liberty Delight Farms. Take a quick rest, speak with the owners (Chris and Lauren) and be patient while they explain how the new venue has been established. Good conversation and customer etiquette helped with understanding pricing and stopping along the way after checking out Soldiers Delight. Only dinged one star for "Beautiful Man" comment (Google code switching, Zennials) which was a bit awkward before speaking with Chris more. Should really be 1/2 a start with no time to search new plants, managing kiddos and other curious patrons as well. That's on me though, I didn't expect him to be so chill. Chris has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding areas and a true "plantman". Stop by if you need green thumbing advice. Lastly, do a few laps between their meat section and speak with Lauren if she is there. She broke down the whole transition, supply chain and expectations for the venue in a real quick convo. Plan to visit more and spend time checking out the inventory for grilling and chilling.

Would give this place 6 stars if I could! The meat is amazing, and the people who work there are so committed and friendly!

Everything my family has gotten from Liberty Delight Farms has been amazing! Such high quality meat! Love their feta spinach chicken sausage, their chicken wings, and the jerky! We will be buying our third farm share next month!

Love the atmosphere and the people that work at the store. Tried their wurst two weeks ago. Had to go back today and get more cause my one son eat a whole package himself. Got the best watermelon of the season last time we were at the farm. Had to get another one today as well. Will definitely be using this farm in the future.
