We stopped into Lengerich Meats in Zanesville for our first time after hearing how good it is. We bought a spicy summer sausage and a traditional summer sausage. They are both delicious! The slices are huge and the flavor is so fresh and delicious!

Super close and convenient to Roanoke & Fort Wayne. Great prices for the best meats! I love their summer sausage, jerky, bacon, and breakfast sausage the most! When you walk in it is so clean and everything is so fresh! The smell of smoked meats usually makes me do some impulse buying on top of what I came in for! Employees are always so friendly and helpful.
Saw their jerky in a gas station in Fort Wayne yesterday. Was driving down the road eating it. First few pieces I was thing it was really good and then a couple tasted different. Then noticed what I thought was mold. I stopped eating it and showed to my wife when I got home. She said “umm yeah that looks pretty hairy”. The sell by date is 4-14-25. But definitely moldy and threw it in the trash. Not driving back to Fort Wayne for it.
Processed half a cow. Told me there were parts of the cow I wasn't allowed to have due to age of cow. Everyone tells me this doesn't exist, research online points to this doesn't exist. So either lengerich stole from me or they worked together with the person who raised the cow to steal from me.
We only buy our meat here! My hubby grills ALL the time!! Even in the winter!! Lol!
