Not only is there a great selection of meats and cheese, they also have canned good and other grocery store like items to buy. Customer service was fast and friendly. If you want fresh cut meat, frozen meat or different cheeses, this is the place to buy them.

I enjoy going Lake Country Meats to get the best choice of good meats. They have good pies in the cooler section. The sandwich shop they have in the back has really good food. I will definitely recommend eating at the sandwich shop and getting really good fine choices of meats.

They're a meat market with a hidden gem Thursday through Saturday. The front of house offers some amazing meats while in the back there is an amazing kitchen serving up sandwiches, main courses, and snacks. Check their Facebook page for details on what's being served. The average meal their is cheaper than McDonald's for 2 people and the service is faster.

Yesterday was our 1st experience at this facility. We aren't from the Alex area. However, we purchased an animal from a private farmer, and this is the butcher they used... so we did too out of convince. We couldn't be any happier with them! 5 STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ALL THE WAY AROUND! This is actually the nicest butchering plant I've been too and I've been to several. This is our new favorite place, and we are more than happy to make the over hour drive to shop here. Our meat was packaged nicely, labeled and boxed well, and the service was AMAZING! The store is also a sight to see and has so much to offer to the public. We worked closing with Dylan throughout our experience of ordering and picking up. He seems to be a bright young man and knows what he's talking about. He also brought all the boxes out and assisted my husband in loading everything without us having to ask. Great young man!

Busy place..... the Beef Hotdogs we bought were good, but the Wild Rice and Cranbery Brats were terrible! We grilled them on the Traeger today, and the casings were so tough we could not bite through them. Not worth $6.59 lb. I ended up skinning them, and the insides were very greasy, with only a salty flavor. However, we did try the jerky last night, and that was pretty good. We are kinda scared to try the regular hotdogs.

My quick testimony to these guys is this: I dropped off a deer late in December of 2024 with the expectation of it being done around May due to their busy schedule, but no big deal. Fast forward to March of 2025, I had military obligations causing an inability to pick up my meat by the time it would be ready. After touching base with the team at the store, with no hesitation they pushed my order to the front of the line to ensure I was serviced before leaving. Beyond the fact their quality and flavors are amazing, this act earned my business for life and would recommend them to anyone.

We do all our meat shopping here! Employees are super friendly and helpful. The smell when you walk in is heavenly.

When we want a good quality steak this is the place to go! They have a wide variety of cuts, amazing deli and the necessities for a well rounded dinner. Plus the 3 cheese twice baked potatoes are on point! We also bring our venison in for grinding during that time of yr.

Been there a few times not impressed with anything I really tried there. The owner also likes to take his problems with customers to social media putting them on blast to the community.

When you walk in the store all the delicious smells hit you of their handmade meats and cheeses. It's so wonderful. They offer such a wide variety of meats, cheeses, jerky and more. They have some of the absolute best polish and brauts ever. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend stopping! Excellent customer service. So many meat selections to choose from. They have a nice little sandwich counter, but we didn’t order. Their beef jerky is the bomb if you like that sort of thing. We tried the elk beef sticks and the elk summer sausage which was outstanding.

The best meat market there is! My family and I stop every chance we get. Great lunch specials. Good price on meat. High quality. Jerky, brats, sticks all great. Highly recommend.
