Great selection for a small business. The sausages n pepper sticks are 1st rate. Got some smoked, some plain, and all were DELICIOUS. Had to get a 2nd cooler to bring back goodies to SC! Staff was so helpful and entertaining, you can tell they like their job, and are well versed in the products they make n sell. So glad we stopped, and on my list for next year. Highly recommend and appreciate the dedication to their craft

Had a pig processed recently. I even had some special requests like brats to be made and packaging a certain way. They absolutely nailed it! Everything turned out just so awesome! The lady who was at the front counter was so helpful and kind/courteous.
We brought a pig in for processing this fall and are not impressed at all. First, the pig hung for multiple days, like you do for beef… pigs are supposed to be processed immediately, so that’s the first problem. Second- Our bacon - well it has no flavor and we received as much as we did last year when purchased half a pig butchered elsewhere, where did the rest go? I hope whoever is enjoying it got the part that actually tastes like bacon. Third- we had 1/3 of our sausage made into Italian sausage, it’s terrible. It tastes old and dusty, pretty much like the meat is rotten. We ended up throwing away - super mad about this. We have been paying area lockers to butcher our own steers that we raise and 4-H pigs we buy from the same friend for 10 years, this is the worst processing that we have ever had. We 1000% will never return and make sure to let others know of our experience. If you don’t know how to butcher, you probably shouldn’t be doing it.
I LOVE this place! My parents in Underwood recommended this place to me when I was visiting from the cities. I cannot tell you how much I wish we had this meat market in the cities. The staff is welcoming and friendly. All the meat products I have tried have been delicious and fresh! They have the best bacon around and I have got to say....their pepper jack beef hot dogs are AMAZING. I cannot wait to come back around Labor Day for some more goodness! Thank you!
Just picked up my processed venison yesterday and made the sausage w/ blueberries and maple flavor for brunch today! Totally out of this world awesome! My niece enjoyed it too! Your meat market is a great place!!
We have been buying from Fergus Locker for several years. This spring we were told, for the beef, to expect a wait of well over a year. This we understood. After several months we called back and we’re told that we were still in the pile of orders. Progress was slow but we understood. Two months ago we were told that WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION our order had been removed from the pile and had been put “on hold”. This we did not understand. Today, when we called to express in the nicest terms possible our disappointment we were hung up on. When we called back we were told to never call again. We were never given a reason as to why, after two inquiries, our order had been removed from the pile of orders. So clearly, if there is ever a complaint from the customer, the owner of this business will get upset, cancel the order and tell the customer to never call back again. Truly a sad ending to well over ten years of being a customer and truly a lousy way to run a business.
My family brought in a cow for processing and they only gave us hamburger (not what was requested) and gave us only about half the meat. What happened to the rest of the cow. The Owner will not contact us regarding the problem. FYI: we are not the only ones who have had this problem.
There were three pigs brought in and they loose meat from last one, how stupid do you have to be to loose labeled meat And my reply to you... Unnecessary for you to call my husband about a review, very unprofessional and you had two customers with the same name so how do I know we got our proper meat

We had some venison made into pepper sticks there is no taste to them maybe forgot to add the beef or something and the meat does not fill the casing there are in.
One of the best kept secrets in our area. Great to work with in finding good cuts of meat and tasty cheese to go with those burgers, steaks, etc.
Haven't been there for some time. Good to See the coolers and the freezers full of produce.Very nice people Working there. Prices are good.
Would like to try Lake Cabin Meats but we are only at the cabin on the weekend and it is closed. Hope to see some hours on Saturday in the future.

The Bacon tastes great, but was really fatty. Fair pricing though.
