I visit the LaFaver store in West Reading. I agree, I ALWAYS get their chip steak! Locally produced, high quality foods, definitely a great place to shop.
We love going into Lafaver's to pick up meat, eggs, milk and seasonal goodies. The freezer selection is diverse in locally sourced meat options. They offer local honey, maple syrup, tea and many other tasty treats. Emily and Greta are always helpful and so friendly. Thankful for this family farm store and so excited for their new store to open in Wyomissing.
This was my first visit to the LaFaver Family Farm Store but I will be back. I went for the beef and Healthy Delight Cooking oils but found so much more. It's great to see a small business supporting other small businesses. They had Conebella Farm cheese, a blackberry wine spread, pretzel and dip flavors along with pickles, poultry, milk and crafts. Great place and only about four miles off Rte 61. Check them out I think you will like their products.
A local hidden gem. Just outside of Hamburg pa. I would love to show you pictures of the steaks and roast we got here. But we ate them. Fantastic, the quality of meat is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Look for this shop you won't be sorry.
Excellent beef products, added plus are the local cheeses and drinks.
It was a joy to run into this rural entrepreneur and they're family! The facility is very clean and well managed. Came away with some gorgeous T-bone steaks for a great value and few of the fashion black LaFaver Farm t-shirts. Come and see for yourself and leave with a smile.
Friendly family. Emily & Travis along with their three girls are just the sweetest family you'll ever meet. They raise amazing cattle & the beef from those cattle is just amazingly delicious. They are also such a huge supporter of local/small businesses. They have so much to offer in their little store.

Bought 2 pieces of equipment for my farm from them and ended up buying some meat to try. Incredibly friendly kind people with a beautiful family. All the meat looks and taste great, I would highly recommend them to anyone.
