La Carniceria Wagyu is a butcher shop and sandwich shop that specializes in high-quality Wagyu beef products, offering a variety of sandwiches and cuts of meat. The business caters to customers looking for premium meat options, including halal selections, and provides a unique dining experience with freshly made sandwiches. Solid sandwiches and Dutch crutch bread! Great meat to bread ratio, and plenty of fresh veggies! Ordered online was ready ahead of time and was only about $20 for sando (could feed 2), little bag of voodoo chips, and a can of Coke!! Crazy good... Delicious, good value, friendly staff, easy parking! They also have house made salsas, chips, pickled veggies, etc. ready to-go! We will definitely be back and might try their other location in Costa Mesa.
After some time, I finally got stop by this local butcher shop to try one of their sandwiches. Each sandwich while a bit pricey does come with a bag of chips and a drink. I got their signature wagyu pastrami sandwich which was toasted to perfection. You would think the sandwich would be very heavy, but it was quite easy to eat and I didn't feel sick or bloated after. The wagyu pastrami itself was buttery smooth, and has a great clean taste to it. I'll definitely be back to try some of their marinated meats and other sandwiches.
My husband has been wanting to try this place for a while, so we finally gave it a shot. I ordered the Wagyu pastrami, which came with marble rye bread, and my husband got the Wagucci Trio on Dutch crunch bread. The food was good, but I thought the price was a bit steep for what you get. I guess that’s just the norm these days. Overall, I’m glad we tried it!
Parked in this plaza to drop off oil after my boyfriend did an oil change on my truck, and happened to strike upon this tiny pot of gold called “La Carniceria Wagyu”! It was lunch time and we decided to scope out the place and see what it was about. Upon entering, we were greeted by fresh cuts of meat and a widely enticing array of wagyu sandwich options. I ordered the Roast and my boyfriend got the Prime. We enjoyed our freshly made sandwiches at the park down the street. Haven’t tried the chips and salsa yet, but I will definitely be coming back here for the halal options, wagyu beef cuts, homemade salsa selection and macaroni salad or potato salad freshly made. They also sell a haven of rubs for you to season your meat at this butcher shop. Overall great experience and it was nice to meet Victor, a very helpful and friendly butcher!
Went here to pick up some sandwiches for lunch. These were some of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while. They have many halal options as well! Stop by for their wagyu pastrami sandwich!!
Top 3 most sensational sandwiches I’ve had in my life! Really awesome to find a place that offers halal options. My go to is the Wagyu Hot House halal. Loaded with meat, I wish it had extra cheese, and the pickled onion cuts through the richness really well. Make sure to have it fresh with the bread still crispy. Pro tip: if you’re reheating it, put it in a microwave for 20 seconds to warm up the inside and then air fry it for 3 minutes to crisp up the outside. All the employees are great and super helpful. If you’re Muslim, be sure to ask for your sandwich to be halal. They permeate sandwiches on different surfaces and ovens and go as far as to substitute any pork with either beef or Turkey. They also happen to sell steaks. All Australian Wagyu is halal. Denver steak is perfect to me, you get a good amount of meat for the price. Their location can be sort of tight when it’s busy and parking can sometimes be a hassle. They recently put up signs for a couple reserved spots at the front of the shop. Go try this place out for yourself!!
Worst experience ever. There was a guy and a girl supposedly attending but they were talking to each other the whole time. Looks like they were flirting and took more than 30 minutes to get our order of two sandwiches. I don’t recommend this place 100%. She was very into him and the guy was getting distracted. Awful service, please avoid going to this place.
I would give 0 star if I could! Have been to this place on three different occasions now. Meat has always been good. First time bought a few dry aged rib eyes, second time bought 2 filet mignon steaks and the third time I paid over $400 for two Tomahawk steaks. Again, the meat was good, however, the service and appreciation is really bad! Went in there today to buy three 8oz Filet Mignons and they had fresh cut Filets in the bin with chopped Onions and Cilantro piled on the tops, something I do not do with my steaks. I asked them if they could cut me three fresh Filets and they said they just cut these ones and started brushing it all off. I told them I understand you just cut them but they have onions and cilantro on them and it is in the meat now, can you please cut me three fresh ones. They actually told me no. Could not believe it and will never go back here again. Horrible experience especially when you spend this much on a piece of meat. Maybe look for another Butcher that appreciates their customers.
I dont know if I ever had a sandwich this good. Just randomly stumbled upon this place. Just do yourself this favor and try their food. Delicious. Had their pastrami sandwich, each bite was better than the last.
I had to hear about this by word of mouth you would never think but looking that the best sandwhich in the area would be here but it is... I mainly go for the sandwhich but deli is good to just a bit pricey but I keep coming back for the mouth watering deli sandwhich. The wait isn't long but seating is only one table so plan for to go order and eat at home or somewhere close by. Everyone I've told has gone and always texts me that it was amazing so enjoy!
Quality Japanese, Australian, and American cuts of meat. You can sample the meats in smaller portions as one of their dozen sandwiches. Many interesting steak rubs are available, as well as tortillas, salsa, and steak butter.
I've been ordering delicious sandwiches from this butcher shop and they are delicious 🥪 😋 waygu pastrami is my favorite. Highly recommended 👌 …
Visited Carnicería Wagyu two days ago and I was in true admiration of customer service, taste, and overall experience. I purchased Wagyu filets, Wagyu ribeye, and Wagyu picanha, and grilled them yesterday (ribeye was my favorite). I also …
This place is legit. Look, if your looking for a standard steak like you would find at Staters or another grocery store, this place really isn't your gig. If you want superb quality, this is the place. You get what you pay for, and it's worth every bite! Look at the marbling on this A5 Ribeye!!
My new fave spot !!! Sandwiches are huge and all ingredients are top quality. I also love buying their giant tomahawk steaks and grilling those. Friendly service too!!!!
This is first a butcher shop and 2nd a sandwich shop. They have fantastic sandwiches you would expect to find from a restaurant. Price is a bit high, but it's a premium sandwich. You also get chips and a soda. I had the wagyu pastrami …
