I believe it's family owned, good prices, great steaks, as well as other meats. They now have meats for making dog food as well as they have prepared meals for dogs I believe it's called human grade, not sure how it was labeled, but I know it's good quality and my baby girl Sadie loves it. Friendly environment. It looks great since the remodeling 👍

I was surprised. I hadn't been in since they remodeled. The place looks amazing! They are friendly, helpful and have the best meats. Plus, the lady who was helping me suggested their burger rub. WOW 👌 those were the best burgers I've ever made. …

I shot my first deer ever this year. I did my research online as to where to take it. I ran across Knightstown Meats. The reviews on deer processing looked very good. I was worried wherever I took it, I wouldn't get my deer, or I wouldn't get all of it back, or the product wouldn't taste up to what I was expecting. So I decided to drive an hour out to Knightstown. First time I've ever done this. They were extremely busy, so the intimacy with helping me choose products, considering I've never done this before, was not quite there. No big deal. But the products I got are OUTSTANDING!! I wasn't expecting them to actually do the jerky for me, but I'm glad they did. There is no way I would have made it this good. It is smoked and perfect tenderness. I took the jerky and snack sticks to work to share with the guys and everyone raved. Go here, drive here. Use Knightstown! Thank you guys and gals for taking care of me!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We purchased a box of 20 burgers, a box of 10 pork fritters, 2 bags of ground elk, deer summer sausage, deer snack sticks, and a bag full of smoked bones for our dogs. At this time, we have only tried the deer summer sausage and the deer snack sticks. Both are excellent! My dogs have been quite content with their treats from our visit. We will be making the burgers and the elk this weekend. So far, I am extremely happy with our purchase.

They are the very best quality. Meat is shrink wrapped vacuem sealed and clean. Very good customer service. Their chicken wings are the best we have ever had. They just melt in your mouth..Try the deer summer sausage. Didn't last but a couple days in our household.

We’ve lived in knighstown for 2 years. This is our go to place for local meats. The owner Dan is awesome and all his employees are very personable when my family and I come in. They are also extremely knowledgeable about the products they provide. They provide so many different cuts of meat from chicken to venison to pork. Plus local honey, eggs, cheese, Frozen fruits and veggies. They have everything you need!

Average rating. The reason? Let’s start from the beginning. I took my deer to them on the 11th of December. Told them how I wanted the deer processed burger, sausage etc…. They ask if I wanted the head back as it was a really nice buck 13 points a trophy buck my anyone’s standards! One week after dropping off the deer I called to see if it was ready for pickup they ask when I dropped it off I told them the week before they said it wasn’t ready and that they would call when it was ready. 2 weeks goes by and I call a second time. I’m told it’s ready and the price. One week later this morning I go to pickup the meat and antlers only to find out that they don’t have the antlers. First they said they threw them away because they were told to. Then they said they didn’t think I wanted them. The last thing I heard them say was someone must have taken them to use for rattling horns. I called them twice to check on the process at no time did they mention the lose of the rack! Thrown away, given away, stolen! In any case the advice is if you have a trophy deer don’t leave the rack with them!

Absolutely the best staff. Every time I have been there people were eager to help me. Not to mention it's the best meat in indiana! This is better than the organic meat at krogers. I won't meat from anywhere else.

Well I ordered 1 lbs of Deer jerky at $15.50 a lbs and they give me 2 lbs all in one big bag and charge me for it ! The jerky is the worst that I think I've ever had, some too thick not dehydrated enough waist of good meat not much of a flavor either. Plus I told them I want the neck roasts you know because when you're done with the roast you can turn the remaining into BBQ. So I go and pick my meat up and no neck roast just a ham roast not happy 😞 I ordered four rolls of jalapeno pepper jack summer sausage the first roll I cut up had no Jalapenos in it cheese only!! but on the only bright side there snacksticks are delicious but a little on the pricey side. Last time for me !!

On a busy Monday during firearms season, when they were over capacity for deer processing - Denise took the time to not only explain their capacity situation but then took 20 minutes to help me find another location to process my deer. She called multiple competitors to help me get my deer processed although it was sending "business" away. Make no mistake - my next deer and those thereafter will be heading to Denise and the folks at Knightstown Meats and Catering...

I love this place. I drive an hour every year to have them process my deer because they do such a fantastic job their prices are good and it always comes out amazing. Great place in well worth the drive plus they are super friendly and very helpful

Google

Everything they had to serve for breakfast was out of date. When I pointed out to the guy working behind the desk that the milk was out of date his reply was the health department says that a week past the date is still good. It took all I had to keep from telling him just how dumb he is. He was exceptionally rude thereafter. I will not be staying there again. The second floor that I was staying on skunk. Also I left the heater on high heat all night yet I woke up cold and shivering several times. Overall it was the worst place I have stayed in years
