My stay at Kinderwood Farms was truly inspiring, seeing firsthand how eating farm-to-table makes such a difference in both health and happiness. It was amazing to see exactly where your food is coming from, how the animals are being treated so well, and how much more rewarding it feels to be connected to what you eat. I had so much fun learning how to make sourdough bread with Mack, feeding the baby goats, and even making cheese from goat’s milk that I helped milk myself with Lauren! Kinderwood Farms offers an authentic and unique farm stay experience that anyone looking to reconnect with nature, good food, and simple joys should absolutely experience! Thank you both for your hospitality and a peek into such a blissful way of living! Say hi to Rex for me!

I got to do their goat yoga at Beer Thirty (and they had baby pigs) and it was such a blast! It was an approachable price for such a great unique experience with friends. They will make sure everyone gets time with the pigs and goats and attempting to do some yoga poses with them! We even got to bottle feed some of them. 10/10 recommend!

Thank you, Mac and Lauren! We had the most special time last week for my birthday overnight at their Bnb. We added the cheese making and dinner experience to our stay and it was well worth it. We got to interact with and feed the baby goats and pigs, milk the adult goats, and enjoy some amazing homemade pizza and conversation for dinner. They also have two super cute friendly house dogs and we interacted we the cuddliest farm kitty named Zoolander. Most of time, we hung out with them in their home which they graciously opened to us. For breakfast, they made us coffee and a delicious green smoothie and offered to make us eggs and toast. We were sent home with a loaf of homemade sourdough bread and delicious goat cheese. Mac and Lauren are amazing hosts who truly enjoy sharing unique experiences with people. They have a culinary background also and the food they make from scratch shows. It was the most incredible time learning about the farm and their lifestyle. I wholeheartedly welcome anyone to take a day or night visit with them and plan to bring others here soon.

My partner booked an overnight stay and cheese making for my birthday and we couldn't be happier. When we arrived we were welcomed by Mac and their very friendly dogs! As soon as we had put our bags down we got to meet all the animals. We bottle fed piglets and met all the baby goats which stay on their deck! Mac and Lauren are very generous and warm hosts! They cooked all of our meals and we spent most of our time in their kitchen. They clearly care deeply about all of their animals and where their food comes from, we learned so much and had a great time with them! We were sent home with farm fresh eggs and all the cheese we had made so we could have a farm fresh breakfast at home.

We had such a fantastic time at the Kinderwood Farms goat and piglet yoga! It was truly a very fun and enjoyable experience. The animals were incredibly sweet and gentle, and we loved getting to interact with them throughout the session. Feeding them was definitely a highlight and made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this for anyone looking for a unique and memorable activity.

This is a “must do” if you’re in the area, especially with kids! The animals are all clearly very happy and loved. We loved playing with the babies and sampling some of the incredible goat cheese. Mac and Lauren are wonderful hosts and it was so interesting to learn about their operation!

My partner and I stayed here during my break from grad school. What a great choice! Mac and Lauren were so warm, welcoming, funny, knowledgeable, and talented. We got a lot of joy from learning about all the animals and how Mac and Lauren run the farm together. The hogs, chickens, turkeys, cats, dogs, and of course, the goats, were all friendly and playful. We got to milk goats and bottle-feed the newborn goats as well -- they are so funny and rambunctious! Lauren made us a great breakfast each morning, and we joined Mac and Lauren (and baby Rex!) for a delicious and enjoyable dinner one evening. I was really impressed that Mac and Lauren were so chill considering Rex was not even 7 weeks old! They also had great recommendations for things to do in Aptos. Our stay here was lovely and memorable, and we are recommending Kinderwood Farms to all our friends.

We did the baby goat yoga, which was hosted at Beer Thirty. It was so fun and relaxing! They had some baby pigs as well, so we got to hold and feed them! Love this local company and would definitely go again!!
