I absolutely love the farm stand at Killeen Farm! They have put it together so thoughtfully and beautifully, and I especially love how they accept cards and Venmo. It makes it super accessible and easy to stop by and grab some items on the go. Not to mention, every item at the farm stand is the absolute peak of freshness and deliciousness. The eggs are some of the best you can get in these parts. Keep up the amazing work! <3
Whether you need eggs, a locally made housewarming gift, or some veggies to turn into dinner—Killeen Crossroads Farm has you covered. My kids love stopping by with me because there are always chickens and tractors running about. They carry seasonal goodies, meats, and lots of local gems (get the cookie dough!). You won’t regret swinging by the farm stand and you’ll be lucky if you bump into one of the farmers to say hi and learn more about the food!
This farm is only at the beginning of its journey and I am so happy to have discovered them. I ordered two of their fresh heritage chickens - WOW! Who knew chicken could taste this good?! The meat was incredibly tender and juicy - and the carcass made the richest most nutritious stock. I'll be anticipating their next round of chickens (in the spring) as well as all of the other beautiful things they're planning to raise. Keep your eyes on Killeen Farms - they're fixing to put a smile on your face.
Easy to find, love their eggs. Eggs are all we've tried so far but very satisfied. Just one suggestion...what time are you open on Thursday to visit the store? Would love to visit and check out your other goodies.
We picked up a half dozen eggs yesterday and this morning had the best scrambled eggs of my life. I would happily have paid three times as much for these amazing eggs!
