Cute little farm with apple picking, pumpkins, and a few animals to see. We bought some steak straight from the farm and are looking forward to trying it! The hours vary depending on the day of the week, so be sure to check online before you go. Also, I’m a photographer—feel free to follow me on Instagram: @mr.3verything 📸
We went to visit the farm as a family and overall everything was ok , we love to support local farms but they only accept cash in certain booths and when I went to their shop, I was disgusted as how the ready to eat pies were in the same fridge with raw meat. Then a staff member was gross to my daughter because we didn’t shop there an accused us of only coming to see the animals. Like maybe have a ATM AVAILABLE if you are going to cash only or advertise it online so that we can come prepared, don’t cross contaminate food! I’m surprised, ya are not shot down for that! And don’t be rude to your visitors!!
The farm itself is very cute, but unfortunately, we had an unpleasant encounter with one of the staff members. My family was enjoying the scenery and taking pictures at the photo areas around the property. As we started walking toward the pumpkin patch and away from the market, a woman said, “Wow, you’re not even going to buy something?” loudly enough for my younger siblings and other customers to hear. We hadn’t even said we were leaving, so the comment felt rude and unnecessary. It really took away from what could’ve been a nice experience.
October when the foliage is at its peak is the perfect time to visit this farm. Leaves falling in the background, it's loaded with New England Charm! Adorable miniature horses next to the pumpkin patch. Great place to visit on your own, as a couple or with your kids to pick out that perfect pumpkin to decorate for Halloween. Charming country store.
I travelled 25 miles, there wasn't any pumpkin patch. I saw plenty of pictures on Google showing there was. My husband got out and asked and was told they only had a few pumpkins in the shop. If I wanted that, I could've gone to price chopper a block away from my house. Yes I know it's near Halloween but why should that affect anything? I was gonna get out because my son wanted to see the animals but I saw the reviews that said customers will get yelled at if you don't buy anything. If that's the case, put up a sign saying if you don't buy anything don't come here.
Visiting from Texas. Very much looked forward to a Connecticut farm/ pumpkin patch experience. I am personally a shop owner. Customer service is key. This was Cute small farm. Cute shop with a nice little selection. Very rude people. Ruined the vibes. Looked forward to taking a little walk then returning to the shop to purchase several things that we liked but after encouraging the very rude lady outside the vibes were killed and we packed up and left. Don't waste your time driving out. 😔
Lovely farm atmosphere with a well stocked small market. I bought an apple pie that was still warm. Quite possibly the best apple pie I ever had!
This was our first time visiting this farm, and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. We are from New York and were excited to explore, but there was no clear signage or indication of where visitors are allowed to go. We accidentally walked into what turned out to be the owners’ backyard..which was not clearly marked and were yelled at by the owner and her husband. It was uncomfortable and felt very unwelcoming. Customer service is an important part of any business, and sadly, that was completely lacking here. This experience left such a negative impression that I would not return or recommend this place to others. Clear signage and friendlier communication would make a big difference for first-time visitors.
🍎 Apple & pumpkin picking right in our own backyard! This is such a charming and accessible experience suitable for all ages. 😋 They have some of the best apple cider doughnuts in the region and I NEVER leave without visiting their shop & purchasing their mulled cider spices & signature shepherd’s pie! 🍁Definitely one our annual fall favorites!
So my very large extended family comes here every fall to pick apples and have a good time with all the kids they love to feed the small horses leaves and the apple fritters are the best don’t miss them. They r hot. Kids love the chickens and goats and pigs. Then you go on the tractor/hayride which is always enjoyable then pick apples and eat as many as you can while you pick. Great environment for all. People r always very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait till next year. Oh and my wife got a steak from the market section and it was great. Amazing how a steak tastes that was walking around the day before. Good times highly recommend
