Kyle recommended a few different cuts, including their hamburger patties. I'm blown away. It was an easy quick visit to the farm to meet him and select cuts (you're not going to get your hands on this Waygu unless you drive to the farm or eat at an Iowa City restaurant like the Webster or Wilder). The flavor was rich, I'm glad I took his advice and chose a variety of cuts, it's a lot for one person! In a good way. I'll be back to the farm soon.
I wanted to really step up the steaks this grilling season so I was looking at some online options but then I found a local wagyu source. This was also my first experience with wagyu. I spoke with Kyle and he really took time to educate me on the subject and it really is interesting how much more time and care it takes to raise this type of meat. After eating a prepared meal I am a believer!! We had a flat iron steak marinated Italian style, pan seared, and placed in the oven for just a bit and it turned out to be the best steak I have ever had the pleasure to eat. Everything about it was excellent. The fat is not tough and the texture of the meat is just perfect. I must admit my wife prepared this one. I can't wait to try the other cuts and try grilling this summer!
Always wanted to try Wagyu Beef and we are lucky to have access to Wagyu Beef in Iowa. Amazing flavor and buttery tenderness. Sarah is friendly, a very knowledgeable breeder and let me know how to grill my ribeye and fillet perfectly. Sarah provided the back sorry that explains how Wagyu came to be in the US. Great service! The meat was unbelievable. Tender, juicy and great taste. Sarah explains in great detail how to cook your steaks. Takes time to answer any questions and is fun to learn about this breed of cow.

This was my first experience with wagyu beef. She took the time to answer all of my questions. By far was the best steak I’ve ever made. Top notch beef and great customer service!
