Chorizo: DELIZIOSO!! From Joia I try meats, often ground (pork, sausage, mutton, lamb), as flavor base for dishes… daily excursions in kitchen. All unique. Chorizo : mildly spiced, no tears or sweat. Remarkable product-Remarkable selection. It’s great….so don’t wait. Buon appetito!
This is the best place ever! Buy the products sold here. There is fiber products such as pillows, comforters, and eye masks! So comfy!! There is also meat, chicken,pork,beef,lamb,and duck and chicken eggs!
Joia Food Farm. Joia = JOY in Italian, where for a decade I spent summers living & working, learning culture, food foremost. I have been on the Joia trail since inception so I am ‘in the choir’, singing these praises. Pancetta is well-known in the U.S. by now. Ever try Jowl Bacon?? Pork Cheek. Eh!? Mama Mia, it is astounding. Amazingly unctuous, exuding lots of fat left for cooking now or later. Seasoned in a most gentle, intoxicating manner. I just cannot describe fully the powerful effect this pork possesses. You owe it to yourself to try…just leave enough for me. E buon appetito!
Joia Food Farm has helped me improve my health. Their food is locally grown and raised with so much love. After a health crisis at the age of 32, I began purchasing meats and foods from them. A year later my health crisis was very close to being reversed. REVERSED!!! I was speechless when I heard this news, and the doctor was equally amazed. This farm is one of the best things that has happened in Floyd county Iowa this millennium. The animals are delicious the plants are vigorous, the food is healthy and the farmers are curious, humble and very hard-working.
