JG Ranch

Love this ranch!! We just recently stopped by for the first time in a couple of years. Beautiful place and the people there are very friendly. We spent an hour or so picking some of the most delicious strawberries. Not only did I get to stock my freezer with local fruit but just being out there in the peace and quiet is so refreshing. I think we all needed a nice breather from the chaotic world and to just slow down. Looking forward to the next fruit variety season and what new things they're gonna bring to the farm. Surprised to not see more recent reviews. Came here when we heard there were strawberries to pick. Was surprised being November but I gathered over 3 pounds in strawberries in no time! And they look phenomenal. $5 per pound. They take cash or card. Be careful of mud, recommend bringing close-toed shoes. There are a lot of warning signs, especially with pesticide use. Glad they are very very open about it. They also have vegetables to pick. And you can feed the cows for free! Definitely coming back!

Fun and amazing place to experience farm. We went on first week of Jan2021 weather was beautiful to roam around the farm. We picked jalapeños, cabbage, kale and off course strawberry. We had called them to check the best time to pick and visited the place and picked fresh 2pound strawberry. Entry is free and you pay for what you take home. Also, you can feed cows 🐄 on your own risk per billboard. Overall it will be good outing for family.

Wonderful staff such a great experience. Looking forward to returning during blueberry season. A visit to this farm is a great way to can spend an early morning or afternoon picking / purchasing fresh fruits or veggies .

Visited this place for strawberry 🍓 picking. Its very good place for picking and the farm is also very big. There were lot of strawberries available for picking. The unique activity in this place is we can feed the cows. In addition to the strawberry picking there is vegetable picking also. Lettuce, egg plant, cauliflower, jalapeño, kale, peppers were available for picking. Vegetables and raw honey is available for purchase. Can spend couple of hours happily with family.

I attended a berry picking event with the Wounded Warrior Project. We picked about 5lbs of strawberries. I can't wait for the blueberries and blackberries in April! The kids fed the cows. It was a great time for all.

Best experience ever if you like to pick fresh fruit. I went today with my little helper and we got to enjoy a few fresh strawberries while picking some for later. Then we got to feed the cows and play on the tire swings. All around it was the best fresh fruit picking experience I have ever had and I am sure it will be one my daughter will remember for a lifetime.

We were searching for a berry u pick and found JG Ranch. Their website gave useful information and when we arrived we were surprised in a good way. Lots of ripe, large blackberries, veggies and beautiful sunflowers as tall and large as you can imagine. The farm owner was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

This was fantastic. Hubby and I picked blackberries today for first time. This place is a hidden gem. They are HUGE, sweet, juicy and delicious. Blackberries are super easy to pick and OMG these are some of the biggest blackberries we've ever seen. Picked 3 buckets in under 40 mins - We had a great time. The staff here are wonderful, they have a "you pick" garden that offers just about everything from the garden to the table. Definitely recommend and we will absolutely be back to restock our blackberries next season.

I have been going here for a couple of years with the family. Absolutely love it there. The strawberries are so sweet and delicious... And feeding the cows is a added bonus ❤️Definitely give JG Ranch 5 stars and highly recommend trying it out..

My family and I had an amazing time. We got to feed a cow and pick blueberries and blackberries. The staff was very nice. My niece absolutely enjoyed the experience. I’d definitely go back with my family. It was tons of fun.

You pick strawberries and vegetables. Nice little farm, plenty of shaded parking. Close to the Suncoast Parkway Hwy 50 exit.
