Jeb's Market

I paid for 3 bags of oxtails . Once i came home & opened the bags to inspect the oxtails. I realized why I paid $20 A bag. It was no meat and huge bones. I tried to resolve the matter with the owner . I was met with many rebuttals with my dissatisfaction.

My husband and I purchase our meats from Jeb's Market weekly. Outstanding cuts, choices, and taste! We won't purchase our meats anywhere else. Hands down the BEST!

To be fair I haven't been to many butcher shops but this one is well maintained by a friendly and helpful staff that supply some top quality pork sausages, steaks and much more.

Sad that the owner assuming, is very rude and arrogant. Been there a hand full of times in hopes he had a bad day and maybe the customer service would be better and nope it’s not. Will not be going again.

No idea what all the reviews are on here. Jebs wife was very sweet and helpful, Jeb greeted when I walked in. A completely reasonable place to go, and the meat is very high quality. Shop local I've been coming here once a month since I wrote this review, and my opinion still stands! They're very nice people and I haven't had a bad experience yet

Stopped in and got some steak and Kim chi, love this place great meat.

I’ll start with the poor customer service. I was in there with my daughter, and she was pointing at some pork and the owner started yelling at me and my daughter to get out. I get it if she was poking holes in his food, I would’ve definitely bought it, but she was literally pointing and he yelled at us to get out of his store. Second, Every time I come in in the store, they have a poor selection. Highly recommend you avoid this guy and his store. Guess he gets off at yelling at four-year-olds…..

Pretty solid selection of meats, but the service didn’t seem to be friendly to non-locals

My go to place for fresh meat and caring staff and owners. I especially like the sausage sticks, the barbecue pork with their special barbecue sauce, and an absolutely love the Korean spaghetti and Lisa makes the best desserts.

My wife and I stopped at Jeb's after seeing the sign from the road. We had a very different experience from many of the negative reviews. We were very excited to find a butcher who cut meat specifically for bulgogi. After talking with the cashier, the owner was very friendly and talked to us for a bit before showing us some items we missed. The egg rolls and spicy pork bulgogi we had for dinner tonight were amazing! We are definitely going back on our next trip to Smithfield.

Great place to shop! The quality of the meat surpasses anything you can buy in grocery stores. Jeb and his wife are very friendly. The prices are great as well.

Compared to real Butcher shops, like central meats in chesapeake for example. This place is an absolute joke. Was so excited to check it out only to laugh my way out of this place. Lack of choices and prices are ridiculous. Again compare this place to a legit establishment and you will see what I mean.

I absolutely loves Jeb's! I'll never buy meat from anywhere else as long as he's around. The meat taste so much better than big stores and it's not pumped full of chemicals! Highly recommend

Asked a simple question about the beef and was talked to like I was an idiot. Just very rude and condescending vs informative. We usually buy from our local farmer/neighbor who raises his own cattle but we wanted to try a butcher shop. We regret that decision, find a local farmer.
