Jared's Real Food

I went to Jared's real food farm stand today with my dad, my daughter and my dog. It was our first time visiting and it was everything we'd hoped it would be and more. We met Jared and he was kind and humble and knowledgeable and he is just trying to provide the community with healthy food and support his family and we just loved everything about the experience. Everyone there was super nice. We bought some beets among many other things and let me tell you the beet greens are so beautiful I'm so excited about them. I've never seen beet greens like this in a grocery store and I'm stoked. They also introduced us to a new vegetable called kohlrabi and I'm really excited about that too! Give it a try. Meeting Jared and touring his farm expansion was truly a life changing experience for me. I was introduced to Jared and his work through his good friend Stephen Cornett at Nature's Always Right. When I saw on Instagram that he was doing farm tours, I booked a trip right away and took my mom with me. I am an aspiring farmer, and let me tell you that Jared has inspired me to farm regeneratively much more than other farmers I follow. His farm is beautiful and productive. He practices and demonstrates techniques that I truly think are ideal for small scale farming. He is full of knowledge and wisdom, and is so kind and generous to share it all with those who want to learn from him. Go tour his farm, and I promise you will be blown away and inspired too! I will be going back to see him, and his farm is truly one to be cherished and emulated. Incredibly delicious, nutrient dense vegetables and fruit grown and harvested by a small team of friendly, hard-working, community loving people. Jared and his team nourish so many families in East County. If you want to support your local farm and eat healthy, look no further. Started supporting them almost a year ago and I've loved everything, even certain vegetables I never cared for before.

I highly recommend Jared’s Real Food. I shopped here today, amazing, clean farm. Jared is a very nice guy as well. He took time to show me the produce and explain the different items he had. I’ll definitely be back.
