A must stop! Beautiful place with honey tastings, vinegar tastings, jelly, cider and so on. A lovely shop, with a great selection of all the above and all sorts of gourmet goods. not expensive at all and the farm owners are lovely, knowledgeable and very nice. Highly recommend.
I spent more than three hours in the children's area with my four year old grandson and he still didn't want to leave! Very well done! Loads of pretend play mixed with bunnies, chickens, and goats. Great way to spend the day and don't forget the apple cherry slushies!
Lovely farm shop, with some adorable farm animals. The lady at the till was super friendly and helpful. I bought a little soft toy opossum called Douglas and he enjoyed his travels around California, Texas and back to the UK.
Just the cutest place ever with the nicest people you’ll meet! Highly recommend doing a tasting here. We did the honey tasting and it was so fun and informative (and delicious- we all bought some honey… and got free honey sticks to take home). Such a gem of a place on the central coast. The sisters who work the shop (and the farm) are as sweet as it gets, and helpful and fun! We can’t wait to come back and let the kids play. They also have the cutest dog park!
I'm so glad we found this gem! It's a great experience stop in addition to shop. Self pick tomatoes make such a fun activity, and they have great space for kids to play. Cold treats like apple cider slushies are great for hot days and the heirloom tomatoes were phenomenal, along with other fun produce like unique summer squashes and what I'm fairly certain are the world's largest onions. The young woman at checkout was an absolute delight--helpful, cheerful, proactive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She told me they planted 70 varieties of heirloom tomatoes this season, and walked me through what varieties I was looking at as I chose some for my week's meals, complete with flavor profile descriptions. If I were local, I would be a regular. As it is, I can't wait to be back next time we are anywhere near Templeton. Even if it's out of the way, it's worth the stop.
First time at Jack Creek Farm today and definitely won’t be our last! They have set up the most adorable pumpkin patch! So many beautiful varieties of pumpkins and all the staff are so kind and welcoming! Our 3yr old had the time of his life in the “Happy Acres” part of the farm, so many different imaginative play areas, thoughtfully created and well kept! Such a fun day, thank you!
Great little farm shop, lots of locally .ade preserves and mustards among other things as well as yard ornaments and pumpkins and gourds of every size. Great for taking pictures too and they give taste samples of many of their own products. Large parking lot too and other activities if you have the time.. Convenient access off the 46 highway
Really cute pumpkin patch. Separate petting zoo area that requires a paid entry, which I thought was kind of stupid (only because I'm already spending money on pumpkins, which was over 40 dollars). Plus I spent over 70 dollars in the store. You'd think once you spend a lot of money on the pumpkins alone, they'd give you an entry ticket for the other area.
This family owned farm is a must stop anytime of year but especially in Fall. Four acres, 172 varieties of pumpkins and squash planted. They have the most darling Little Acres set up for interactive activities of life on the farm. The ladies that own and work the farm could not be nicer or more helpful.
Popped in after school w/ our kids just to check it out! It was amazing! All produce available were HUGE n they offer lots of "you-pick" opportunities! A large n colorful play area for little learners n a hay stack climbing area for bigger kids w a wooden train. Free samples of nearly EVERYTHING n it is all SO yummy! We tried their pumpkin spice latte coffee syrup, their fresh homemade garlic pickles, n we bought some sweet fall treats from their candy counter! Will def be returning to collect our family's pumpkins n pick some apples! Our new fall tradition ✨️
if you into overpriced apples and believe looking on couple of farm animals should cost 60$ for the family of 4 then this is your place, everyone else i would suggest to avoid. there are way more interesting farms and wineries in the area.
I love this place. Homemade honey tasting business. The best family ever...a family runs this place...always something to see and definitely the sweets are beyond this world...so friendly they make you feel at home. A 5 star business. …
Amazing Family Owned Farm Experience! Very family friendly and ran by a family in their 6th generation on the Central Coast. If you haven’t been, stop by soon.
Lovely farms, engaging owners, perfect for berry picking, we got the most succulent raspberries, blackberries and strawberries! Special mention to their shop selling maples syrups and fresh Apple juice slushies!
We've been here several times to pick our own tomatoes, squash, peppers, etc. It's a fun time with the kids and the produce is always so tasty. We're looking forward to getting our pumpkins here soon.
Stumbled upon Jack Creek Farms a few months back and had such a fun time exploring ! They have a great store filled with homemade preserves and mustards a beautiful display of chocolates and so much more ! Be sure to check them out the next time you’re headed to the coast.
Super friendly and sweet family owned farm. Genuinely the nicest people you’ll meet. The small store had some local items and treats. The farm has pick-your-own and they will have pumpkins soon. The animals can’t be pet well with the way …
$45 for a family of three to see two chickens, three goat a and a couple shy rabbits! Their handwashing station consists of a few bottles of cheap hand sanitizers that makes your hands itchy! Terrible trap! Full of judgmental people who will tell you how to look at the animals!
My grandchildren and I love Jack Creek Farms! ♥️We love the honey tasting and how welcoming everyone is. Is our go to stop before we get to Cambria.
Cute. Lots of honey. Games for kids. I think there is a petting area...cost is $15 for that. You can pick your own lavender in their garden.
