Iowa Meat Farms

Its a great place for all kinds of meats and other foods. Veggies, salads, breads, canned products and sauces etc. All of that meat was purchased there. Ribs, Steak, turkey legs, Chicken habenero sausage, Shrimp and salads were All Excellent. Great service and really great information about meat preparation and products to try!

Excellent gourmet market which sticks harder to find organs and meats, such as ostrich, venison, boar; beef sweet breads, fries, kidneys; rabbit and quail; pork heart, liver and brain. Amazing selection of condiments and an impressive selection of wines. I highly recommend this shop!

I love this shop! Thier meat is always delicious. I moved to CA from Texas and the meat at trader Joe's is different somehow and just terrible! So I had to start going to the butcher and I love this place. My only gripe is it's super hard to get to bc they only stay open til 6. Hard to get there after work.

Easily the best butcher I’ve been to in San Diego. They have a fantastic selection of red meat, poultry, pork, sausage, bacon, and more. What I really love is their range of specialty items like different types of vinegar, salt, hot sauce, and other niche pantry goods. I expect a place like this to be significantly more expensive, but the items I’ve price-checked were actually cheaper here than online. The meat is definitely pricier than your average supermarket, but this is a *prime* example of "you get what you pay for." The staff are also incredibly friendly and seem like they genuinely enjoy being there. Hopefully that’s true because everything about this place is top tier.

Iowa Meat Farms is a great place to get the highest quality premium meats, wines, beers, and other gourmet food items. The selection is broad, the quality is second to none, and the people are friendly and accommodating. The funny thing is, I usually just buy one of the cheapest products in the store. It's a specialty food product that almost no one else carries, but Iowa Meat Farms has it.

Whenever we visit our relatives in San Diego they serve meat from Iowa Meat Farms. This time it was pork chops. They were excellent. You can tell the difference between theirs and the regular grocery store ones.

Best butcher shop in San Diego. Got some dry-aged ribeye's and they were better than some restaurants. Prices are fair and cuts are high quality.

Awesome market that may be small but truly has everything, including an incredible meat selection. Wine, produce, cheese, tasty condiments + military discount. We got 4 baseball steaks for friend’s bbq and they did not disappoint. Thanks so much guys!

My favorite butcher shop in SD. Good variety and lot's of niche and hard to find products. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and can do custom fabrication if you need

Unfortunately, I have to give a one star after looking into the meat that I purchased here at Iowa meat market. To come to realize that this is genetically modified meat YES not organic meat but made from a lab they are selling lab meat.

So glad I found this place because they sell rabbit! Yum! Staff is super nice and helpful. I was helped within moments of walking in, and then again when my broken brain couldn’t find anything. Nice selection of wines too! Picked up a French Malbec that I am also super excited for. Thanks guys for the service!

Love this store. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Bourbon sausage is a must everytime we go there.

Great selection of meats, sauces, spices, wines etc. Literally, a one stop market. They even have turducken, duck breast, sausage made on site... practically everything I've seen on cooking channels that I want to try and replicate at home.

Nice carniceria. Good carne asada and really good tortillas. Made fresh daily. Then you have the normal vegetables for pico de gallo. It's a fine, family Owned store. Quaint and the staff is friendly. Enjoy!
