This little market is located next to a car repair shop. While waiting my boyfriend and I saw this little shop and stopped in. We moved to Tennessee from Chicago and were hoping to buy Skirt steak. Luckily Hyde Farms had it. This review would have been 5 stars but all the skirt steak is cut into thin small pieces. In Chicago skirt steak is featured at all breakfast restaurants. The skirt steak is so long it has to be folded over to fit on the plate. We sold skirt steak for over 13 years and were actually expecting better quality in Tennessee since it's farm country. Don't get me wrong, the flavor was good but the cut/s not so much. We searched again for skirt steak at the Greenback location and the cuts were exactly the same. Service in Athens was excellent! Fresh veggies looked great, but we didn't purchase this visit. See photos. We purchased pork sausage to try and it was delicious. Check it out for yourself.
I love the great meat choices. The price is awesome and the products are fresh. Plus is the opportunity to support a local farm.

My wife and I have visited this store twice. The meat is top quality and oh so dang tender. I fixed two filets in the sous vide and then grilled them. So tender and flavorful. Top Shelf butcher for sure.
Great little shop! Fresh veggies, eggs, and very tasty meats at very reasonable prices! Cynthia at the register was friendly and very helpful. I have been back twice and intend to become a regular customer at Hyde Farms.
Hyde Farm Meat Market! All are here in Tennessee! Easy to purchase with fruit many vegetables. Bread, snacks! Great Meat! From pork, steak, sausage to frozen. Also many are all willing to help! They are right next here in Athens. Right next to save a lot. They also offer many payments. God Bless you all!
