This place is great! We just went for the first time and will definitely be back. Wherever you are, it’s worth the drive. The quality of the meat is fantastic. Our steaks were so good. I highly recommend you try it! You won’t be sorry.
Great little country store. Prices on meat are very competitive if not even better than your local chain grocery store. It’s great knowing your meat comes from local cows that were raised in Carter county versus cows that were commercially raised all over the country and different parts of the world.
My first visit. They stock many local products. Also very good selection of meats from their farm.
I remember the lady she was very nice who worked there , I was hunting pumpkins at the last minute and I was with my dad coming home from a road trip and she made everything very comfortable for me and helped me. Hughes & Sons is the best! It's a great little store with lots of good products and the people there are so sweet and helpful. Their Apple BBQ sauce is amazing. Along with all of the fresh pies and desserts. Definitely check out their seasonal options too. We just got a beautiful bunch of pumpkins for our fall display at home.

Haven’t tried the beef yet, but what I got for 120$ was more then enough.. fantastic prices, very friendly nice n down to earth people.. mostly kosher food which is what I came for. Il leave another review on Facebook in a week or so once I’ve eaten SOME of what I bought. Thanks!!
