Howard & Sons Quality Meats

Okay, store. Seems to have a large variety and decent prices, but unfortunately, they didn't have tomahawk steaks or turkey legs that I was looking for to grill. I only ended up buying some ready-made chicken tamales and some wood chips. They also need to fix the freezer section. The few items they had were all covered in ice. It's not a good look.

We ordered a beef quarter and pork and I must say the quality of the beef is so fantastic. Not sure why the flavor is so much less from grocery stores, but we are completely sold on buying this way from now on ! Go Howard’s! You surpassed my expectations!

I shop here despite the premium prices, because my dad emphasizes quality in meats and he thought Howard and Sons had good product. BUT, the last two times I have shopped here, and tried to take advantage of the 'text MEAT for $5 off $30' i forgot to show the text at checkout. When I remembered and told the clerk, both times, they said I was too late!!! Last time here I learned after the fact that they charge a 3% surcharge for use of credit or debit cards. I asked the clerk to unring, as in a return, and to rering my order and told her I would pay cash. They said no to that too. I always spend more than $100 here, ($135.83 today) but feel like I am being nickalled and dimed and unappreciated, while paying premium prices. Although the young man who waited on me with my meat and poultry selections was extraorinarily nice. Still have to rethink my next visit. In these economic times, every penny counts.

They have the best mild Italian sausage I have had. Everytime I go to the neighborhood I will get some.

This was my first time coming by to try the outdoor grilled food w/my family. As we were living, a short gentleman w/a ring in his nose gladly handed us a "broken" mild Italian sausage as he stated (we thought that this was a nice gesture since we bought a few things and thought this gave us more to share and eat). But when I eat it, I realized there was HAIR in i, like it was dropped on the ground or SOMETHING THAT SHOULDVE BEEN THROWN IN THE TRASH! That means, they only gave it to us as a TRAP because we were black! And it wasn't given to us as a kind gesture, but as a malice, which validates why the people treated us like, we as black people "didn't belong." That's prejudice which is disobedience and sin towards God! There's no such thing as being Righteous and prejudice at the same time!

After waiting about twenty minutes for 2 italian sausage sandwiches. I got home. Took a bite out of the first one to find it was burnt on the outside and completely raw and cold on the inside. It's painful to watch this motley crew try to run a tiny little hot dog stand. total disarray, disorganized and chaotic. No thank you.

Usually good meat but bought a assortment pack of different flavor Patty's and the meat was bad stunk horribly Def going to start looking for my new go to for meats and pass on this place from here out

Really wanted some fresh polish sausage, paid $9.99#, which I thought was expensive, it was bland with no seasoning or garlic, it cooked up pink like just ground pork in the casing, very disappointed

Good quality and well priced. Why go to a supermarket and pay the same for worse quality and meat you have no idea where it came from?

Great Place but, smell is terrible. Buy some large tomatoes from them but couldn't find them. Should have more of a produce display. People there are friendly.
