House of Meats Wild Game Processing specializes in processing wild game, particularly deer, into various meat products. The business primarily offers butchering and packaging services for hunters looking to process their game meat. Customer reviews indicate a focus on quality service, although there are mixed opinions regarding pricing and product yield.
Prices are way too high. They are already priced me out 2 years ago for normal butchering, and after what I just paid for specialty products they have priced me out there also. We had a good run House of Meats. Go to Brian's across the river. Had friends take stuff there this year and the prices are way better.
I will not go back to this guy. I used to go to the original House of Meats, when that closed I went to Chaon's. Chaon's got bought out by this guy and this guy uses the original House of Meats former name. Ridiculous pricing. I took 13 lbs of deer meat in to get ground up and packaged. Cost $33, I didn't realized that they were charging $2.50 lb to grind and package deer burger. Went to a competitor who grinds and packages for 75 cents a pound with no extra charge for suet. I will not go back there ever.
Dude just balled up his fists in front of my kids to my kids father all be cuz we were trying to throw away a storage tub that had trash bags that were ripped from are storage because we didn't want it on top of the car for we could drive safe in car with 5 yr old n 10 yr old my husband was polite listening and he got co worker n then some chic in a vehicle to sorry we tried to use your 20 foot dumpster that was pretty much empty n may God bless all of you that were rude for a simple mistake
Got maybe 70% of meat back at $3.25/lb. Cuts were good packaging was nice.
Very disappointed. Ordered sausage to be made since mid November. For two months now they have been saying that our order is up next to be filled and should be a week at most. We have had other hunting friends drop off their deer after us and have received there product within a couple weeks. Will not be back
Oh wait tell though that was shot in the neck probably weighed 100 pounds when we took it in and I got 22 pounds of meat out of it I asked for two steaks to a park they only gave me one and I done enough deer to know that the hind quarters would have gave me more meat than that. I Will never go there again to have my deer processed.
House of Meats is a wonderful place with Excellent service. I will be back next year for all my processing needs. Take that statement to the bank.
350 is way to much for a mule deer the product is good but ridiculous when it comes to price
The best place in town to get your game processed. Jo and crew are the best.
Great service
Really like these people. Some people complain about how much meat they get back because they blasted Bambi in half with their 50 cal. Maybe take better aimed shots with a deer rifle instead of elephant guns. Bunch of Rambo's out there
Thank you
