I recently purchased 7.5 yards of compost from Honey Creek Farm and wanted to share my positive experience. I conducted pH and nutrient tests from two different manufacturers, and both showed a pH of 6.5, along with ample nitrogen and potash. A simple addition of bonemeal will balance out the phosphorus. Rob at Honey Creek Farm was incredibly friendly and helpful. The compost is top-notch!
Such a darling little place that my eyes are thrilled with. My body from the homemade soaps feels refreshed and we love the honey. The owners put their hearts out for all to see in this.
Love buying my creamed honey there! Great flavor and hard to find in grocery stores. The shop is so cute and full of options.
Kombucha is yummy and less sickeningly sweet or vinegary than the store bought brands. Easy to buy. Easy to return bottles. Delish. I also bought honey and I love it too.
This visit to Honey Creek Farm was to purchase six darling little beeswax beehive candles to use as place settings for a luncheon gathering. While there, Rob and I enjoyed a front porch chat comparing our affection for overalls and Toyota trucks. It is such a pleasure to have this local family farm right in our community.
I have not discovered something new at honey creek farm I’m just a little slower at doing what I should to stay healthy. One month ago my allergies hit so hard that I was house bound for 1 week, had to see a doctor and take antibiotics. Two weeks pass and I start my day with a sore throat so, I closed my windows and decided to get some honey locally so, of course honey creek farm comes to mind and I head over there to pick up a jar (good stuff ) but I’m not pushing the honey right now. Rob came out and I told him about my allergy issue and he suggested I try a sample of his bee pollen. I have had zero respiratory issues for the past two weeks. I am not willing to say everyone will respond the same as I but give it a try if allergies are getting you down and for $6 a bag it’s certainly less costly than mucinex.
We had the opportunity to enjoy the beef Honey Creek raised...my husband mine as well be Gordan Ramsey's little brother, as his pallet is VERY discerning, and he proclaimed their beef is the best he has ever tasted (and he has travelled all over Europe and Canada in the finest restaurants). It is so very good...we did not buy enough!
