Hilly Acres Farm

Their farm is beautiful, their cows are happy and their products are absolutely delicious. We pre-ordered a dozen eggs and sirloin steak online and 1-2 days later I got an email from them about my order. In that regard, I do wish I had received a confirmation email of my order, but that’s neither here nor there. The pick up was very straightforward, be sure to bring cash! The eggs are incredibly fresh and the steak was tender, the best I’ve had. Would absolutely order from here again!

It was our first time ordering from the farm last week, and we have been thoroughly enjoying everything we purchased this week! My husband and I were particularly impressed with the quality of the beef. It was incredibly tender and tasted exceptionally fresh and delicious. We eagerly anticipate purchasing more in the future. Additionally, the pick-up process is remarkably convenient; we receive a message or call once our order is ready, and we can schedule a suitable pick-up time. Please note that cash or check is the only accepted form of payment. The farm itself is aesthetically pleasing, and it is evident that the animals are well cared for.

My husband and I bought a leg of lamb, our first purchase from Hilly Acres, and it was fabulous. We had two guests that don't normally even like lamb (had I known, I would have made chicken, LOL), but even they loved it. The meat was tender and the flavor exceptionally mild for lamb. Andy sold us the perfect amount of meat for six people, and--believe me--every scrap was devoured. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for always being my first stop when shopping at our beautiful farmers market in callicoon . The eggs are the freshest and a demand of my mother. From the different types of sausage to the garlic kielbasa my recipes have changed to add your meats . My thanksgiving turkey was so moist and flavorful that we enjoyed it for days . Each time I bring friends and family they also leave filled with your ground beef , chicken , pork and lamb . You are so appreciated

I have gotten meat from Hilly acres for a few years now at our local farmer's market and have been extremely satisfied. It has all been super quality at reasonable prices. The reviewer who said his chopped meat didn't look like a pound should have just brought it to a good scale and weighed it before making accusations. Chopped meat packaged that way always looks small. I highly recommend all products from Hilly Acres.

Andy and his family take great care of the animals and the flavor of the meat reflects it. They are all very friendly and the prices are decent (especially for the quality you are getting)! If you are looking for great quality and flavor, I would recommend Hilly Acres. (oh their eggs are amazing too)!

Best turkey, pork chops, and bacon ever! Travel 25-40 miles to “local” farmer’s market just to get Andy’s eggs, chicken, pork, beef and Thanksgiving turkey. Visited the farm at open house and am impressed with the cleanliness and farming methods. A gem in our community. Thank you.

I went to the Barryville N.Y. farmer's market on Saturday, October 10, 2015 and got a package of frozen ground beef from the man at the Hilly Acres Farm stand. He told me the ground beef weighed one pound but it looked pretty short of that. Sure enough when I got home and weighed it the ground beef actually weighed hardly 2/3rds of a pound and barely made two decent sized burgers. The man was clearly deceitful and I'm guessing the other packages were similarly short. Two stars because the ground beef itself is good quality. Major BS on the weight, though, Hilly Acres.

Lucky to have found this farm for the perfect Thanksgiving turkey. Following roasting advice the results were tender, juicy and delicious.
