Hill's Meat Market

Really great assortment of items and friendly service. I actually didn't check out the meat counter but there was a big line so I know the items are high quality! I was there just for snacks, which they had many unique and fun products to choose from like gourmet cheeses and flavored peanuts.

My favorite local grocery store! We love shopping at Hills. The staff is super knowledgeable and kind, the produce is always fresh and delicious AND they’ve been upgrading things around the market to make the shopping experience better! Definitely one of our go to spots for any meats, and be sure to try their made in house salads, bbq and more!

Lunch special is a great meal for the price. Choose your meat on white/wheat. 2 bags of chips and a 12oz pop for $8. And make sure to buy some other meats while you're there. Love the bacon burgers and jalapeño brats

10/lb chicken salad 10/lb tuna salad, thats rough but price increases are everywhere. Beef is okay. Chicken is great, bone in or out, and the flavors they come up with for brats and other items keep customers coming back. Waynedale staple

I ordered the boneless hind and we are very pleased, I honestly think I been eating fake meat my whole life because this meat is delicious and tender and they sell chicken poppers brats I can't go back without bringing my wife some of those, I'll definitely be a returning customer.

The message you get at Hill's is a little schizoid. On the one hand it's definitely a small (in a GOOD way) neighborhood store - that neighborhood definitely being Waynedale. On the other hand, the "neigbhorliness" kind of evaporates if you choose to observe all the many, many signs that greet you. Stand around before or after you shop? Probably not, because that would violate the "no loitering" policy. And don't relax TOO much. After all, you're "on camera!" And we all know in 2021 not to smoke but we still get warned about it. And finally, do NOT come here if you have to use the bathroom because unlike in the days before they built the nice new store, they ain't got one so you'll just have to hold it. But to be fair and more positive, they have a great meat counter and deli and they have a nice wall of reduced stuff - especially lots of bread and buns, which is good since the days of the bread thrift stores seem to be gone. Edit after owner replied: Didn't say a word about "soliciting," pal. You don't want your customers - you know, the nice folks of Waynedale who give you your business? - you don't want them "loitering." It's get in, get that money in our till and get out! And do NOT hang around or chat. That would be "loitering." I make a point of looking and running as fast as I can. No telling which of your signs I might be violating or get me in trouble with the law.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The meat counter has a wonderful variety and the produce is so fresh. I love going there!

As you walk in the doors, they place discounted items on each side. Still good quality stuff. Then you round the corner to the meat section. They have a large variety and a lot of people to help you. Good quality cuts with varying prices. This is not a discount meat store although they have sales and bundles. I just bought a $100 bundle that includes hamburger, bacon, steaks, chops, and roasts. I bought it for a single person who makes it stretch all month. They have cheeses, salads, lunch meats, cooked food etc. They have fruits and veggies (good prices) and some dairy. Their main draw is meat.

Food is fresh, staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Decent deals if you pay attention.

Fresh vegetables and meat wonderful. Good friendly service. I love the cube steak.
