We decided to take adventure and landed here hoping that it was blueberry season but not until JUNE! However, at this beautiful place not many would find the owner was outside to meet us and was absolutely the sweetest ever! She was warm and welcoming. They have a little store where they make their own jams, rhubarbs, honey, salsa, pickled peppers all the good stuff! I must say the choice was difficult but if you stop by here definitely take advantage of the Carrot Cake Jam, Frog Jam and the sweet pickled peppers! Absolutely Amazing! We will be back and may ship some to my family in other states as they ship as well!!! PRICING WAS AFFORDABLE AS WELL! Attaching the newest flyer she gave us! Thank you #Hillcrestfarms

I’ve been coming to this farm since I was a teenager, and I’ve always loved the experience. They offer a beautiful variety of fruit to pick, along with a lovely zinnia garden. Their farm shop also has an excellent selection of fresh vegetables, salsas, jams, and more. Today, my family and I visited to pick zinnias. Unfortunately, our time was cut short due to an unpleasant interaction with one of the owners. My husband was sitting in the car with our two sleeping babies, and the engine was running to keep the air conditioning on. I could hear the owner yelling from across the parking area about the car running, including loudly saying that “people are stupid,” which felt completely inappropriate. When I went to the front to check out, he was still grumbling about it. As I waited for my husband to make a U-turn to pick me up since he left the parking area, I let the owner know that the car belonged to my husband. He told me I should have just rolled the windows down for the kids—but it’s July in Alabama, with temperatures easily in the 90s and plenty of bugs. That simply wasn’t a safe or realistic option for two sleeping babies. The issue wasn’t the rule—it was the attitude. It was disappointing, especially from a place I’ve supported for years.

I haven’t been yet. I literally googled “strawberry farm” near me…I thought this was the place but I read the reviews! I was looking to bring my nieces and nephews along with some teens from my church, but By the low graded reviews, Look like this farm need to look into the male’s interaction with their customers (since He seem to be the subject of people’s negative experience here). Not to be funny but my job often gives us training on how to treat customers. The training will make him aware of how important their customers are. If there is no customers, there is NO BUSINESS!! Also kids grow up….if they have a pleasant experience, the business will be standing for along time, because they will also bring their kids! Just something to think about from someone who only googled a farm…but by the reviews have chosen not to visit! Blessings!

Lovely store owner. Fruit picking pretty much ends in August (forgot which fruit) & berry picking is more spring/summer time. Got some very decently priced honey and jam to try out for my cheeseboard. Excited😊 …

Blueberry picking Trip ! Although the farm is not really too big but it’s good enough for many families spending times together and enjoy picking fruit ! Relaxable and not far from the Gulf Shores beach !
