Visiting the Highland cows was an unforgettable experience! We had the chance to brush them, give them treats, and spend time petting them, making for a fun and unique interaction. The cows were so friendly, and the beautiful farm views added to the charm of it all. Melanie and Wendell were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, which made the visit even more enjoyable. It was definitely worth the drive, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. If you love animals or just want a feel-good moment, this experience is absolutely worth it!

Me and my boyfriend were visiting Helen, Georgia and we came across this beautiful farm resting in the mountains. I am OBSESSED with highland cows and so we booked an appointment at the Young Harris farm, and I will just say it was the most beautiful place ever. The cows were friendly, sweet, and personable. I had an amazing time brushing them and giving them so many treats..definitely worth the time and trip to go visit !!! The owners Wendell and Melanie were so sweet and kind. ❤️

Our sons had a wonderful time meeting the Highland Cows! The owners were incredibly gracious and the boys got to brush the cows and feed them treats. It's clear how well they take care of these adorable creatures. Highly recommend!!

To say this was a wonderful experience wouldn’t even cut it! I absolutely love this place. The grass puppies were absolutely sensational and full of personality. The owners were a joy and so welcoming. The views will just take your breath away. Easy to communicate and set things up for a visit! Will return!!!

Had an absolute blast with my mom! We had our own little private group with the owners and they explained everything and we got to comb the cows. Definitely going to go again!

My husband surprised me with taking me to see the Scottish Highland Cows and it was an absolute blast! We had been at their wedding venue previously for a friends wedding! Melanie not only was the sweetest person ever, but she taught us so much about the cows and what they like to do. We learned so much and if you’re like me, I absolutely have always wanted to pet one. This was a great Valentine’s Day and I’m so absolutely blessed that we got to come here and enjoy the afternoon. This was such an awesome experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

My wife, kids and I had an absolutely wonderful time visiting with the hairy coos at Highlands of Young Harris. My wife has been smitten with this breed for a couple years and this made a great birthday outing. We got to pet, brush and feed a couple of them snacks and then watched as they all jostled for position at the feeding trough. Melanie and Wendell were great hosts, sharing so much information about the cows. I also really enjoyed chatting with them about the lifestyle choices they've made leaving Atlanta for the mountains and sharing our chicken raising lessons. As an added bonus the farm is in a beautiful valley with great views all around. Definitely worth a visit!
