Shelby was a gracious host! We were able to pet, feed and brush the cows. They had donkeys, baby pigs, goats and chickens they we all was able to pet and play with. She taught us all interesting facts about the animals. We will definitely be back to get more highland cow love. Thank you Shelby for letting us love on your babies!
Wonderful farm/activity to have in Sylva/Jackson County and a must do if you’re in the area! Shelby is so sweet and knowledgeable and created a really fun and informative experience for our family, highly highly recommend!
I'm late posting a review but my friend and I went here back in January and had a great time! 🤗 Shelby and Matthew are so nice and love their animals so much!! We loved feeding the cows and giving them scratches! I even got to brush a couple of them! 😍 We will definitely be back for one of their events or just when I'm needing some cow loves hahaha!
This sweet little farm nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina is the best! The owners Shelby and Matthew are such sweet folks that gladly introduced us to all their adorable animals! Their Highland cows are all so cute and friendly! Honestly I wanted to move in with all those cuties! The farm had grown and so many wonderful improvements have taken place! If you ever get the chance, go visit their amazing farm! I can’t wait to go back!
My out of town friends and I had such a pleasant time touring Shelby and Matthew's farm! I was so surprised with how social and curious all of the animals are and I can't wait to visit again. I would definitely recommend a farm visit to anyone who's looking for a calm activity out in the fresh air. So come out and donate to this lovely farm!
We had a great visit today at this farm. Shelby is a wealth of knowledge and tales about the animals. We live in Waynesville, visited WCU many times, and never would have guessed this farm was so close. Definitely worth a visit and we hope to return when Ms. Rottie is around:)
I attended the Cows and Coffee event at Highland Hills Farm. What a great time. Small group setting with plenty of opportunity to take photos with cows and all the other farm animals. Snacks and brushes for cows were provided. Hosts were super nice and accommodating. Great coffee ( hot and iced) Highly recommend this activity.
I went to Highland Hills Farm for a work retreat and we had a wonderful time. Shelby was a wonderful host and taught us a lot about the animals. The animals were all very cute- especially the baby goats!
My husband took me here as he knew I loved cows! I wasn’t disappointed! The owners are so very sweet and you could tell they love their animals!! I was greeted by chickens, a donkey named little Jack and a sweet doggie!! The cows… omg the cows!! I’d stay all day and pet them!! You must go!!!!
Absolutely amazing experience! The owners are about the nicest people you will ever meet and the farm is beautiful. We did a photo shoot there with the cows and everything was perfect. The owner made sure that everyone was happy and well cared for!!!
