Highland Farm Game Meats

I’ve never been here but after researching for ostrich eggs (my local supplier didn’t have them yet) I came across Highland Farm and placed an order. The shipping was very fast! I was hoping to get it before Easter. Took 2 days. Packaged very carefully as well!

Love this place! Claire provides fantastic service. We buy ground Bison, and Bison strip loin steaks. This stuff blows local grass fed beef away. The best steaks and burgers I’ve grilled in years. We gave up most meat. So, a steak or burger is a rare and special thing. These never let us down! The summer sausage is a treat , and their venison andouille that I use in my gumbo is great too.

we bought a bundle and then added extras that we frequently enjoy having whether its in our chili, tacos or just a good old stew. This family farm is by far the best with service for the meat and the customer service was amazing. We will absolutely be coming back for more when its needed or even possibly before!!!

As a customer I’ve been very pleasantly surprised with how good they are: 1. Great variety of game meats that are hard to find near NYC 2. Meats arrive extremely well packaged and remain cold during the entire delivery 3. They’ve been super accommodating for me with delivery times & any issues I had 4. Affordable, bordering on cheap for someone who lives where I do 5. Delivery fee is low (or free if you can pick up your purchases from a nearby location) I’ve been ordering a lot of wild stuff like elk, venison, and American buffalo (aka bison). Everything tastes great as far as I can tell 👍

We got the elk bundle and some buffalo steaks. Everything is fantastic. Flavor and quality is amazing. Customer service was great. We will definitely be going back.

Having the maple venison sausage on Christmas Day for breakfast can not wait. These guys are awesome - it's surprisingly hard to get venison around the Albany, NY area. Highland Farm is not only affordable, but their venison is amazing quality and raised right here in NY - not shipped over from New Zealand like a lot of venison is. Not only do they have a great selection, but they're very nice folks as well - they offered to deliver my order to me in Albany, even after I messed up the shipping option for local delivery. Highly recommend - we're going to be grilling for the rest of the summer thanks to these guys! 5/5, keep doing what you do!

I recently placed an order for over $1000, ground meat has gotten way fattier than it used to be, also osso bucco pieces are tiny. Couldn’t get a refund on those items that were about $100 out of my order. Very disappointing after years of loving their products. Pictures attached of what ground venison used to be and what it is now, also osso buco.

My wife an I went an picked up our meats an I even grabbed a box of meat for the guys I work with along with some awesome snack sticks an I have to say the deer meat melts in your mouth an the bison ribeye were simply delicious thank you to the staff they were awesome with filling the order ! We will definitely be back ASAP!!!
