I’ve gone to Hickory Hearth Highlands three separate times now, once for the hug a highland attraction and twice to feed baby cows (Hank and Pearl). All three times have been an awesome experience! Reagan is so personable, friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell she loves doing what she does and loves giving others an experience with animals. I definitely recommend this to anyone! It’s always so much fun.

We had such a fun experience on the farm. It was awesome to be able to pet and brush the cows and donkeys. So relaxing! Reagan was lovely and full of knowledge - answering all of our questions. It was really cool to see how a 7th generation farmer is sharing the farm experience with others. Highly recommend a visit! We will definitely be back!

Me and my husband visited today and had a wonderful time! Reagan was a wonderful hostess and guide — very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated that this was a REAL farm and not just a “petting zoo.” The animals were well looked after and adorable. There was even a cute little “Mootique” where you could purchase gifts afterwards. BONUS — there were KITTENS! 🥰

What a lovely farm! My friend and I went for a special event (making felt hats) and after the event was done we got to brush, pet and love on the farm animals! The family who owns the farm was on hand to answer questions and help us interact with the animals safely. The views are just spectacular as well.

The animals are adorable a super friendly. Got to meet and kiss lots of babies (big and small) today. Will definitely consider another 4 hour trip to come back! Walter was the sweetest little guy and he gives the best hugs! Special shout out to Reagans mom who kept us company halfway through after we snuck off to sit down with the kittens, and letting us meet your newest barn cat, who was in temporary hold while he acclimated. 10/10 experience.

Such a wholesome experience! From the guide, Reagan, to the cute friendly cows including a newborn, this experience was well worth the drive from Pittsburgh.

Wonderful experience! Loved getting to brush and hug and scratch all the cows and donkeys! Reagan was wonderful host and answered all our questions. Was a little pricy for an hour tour but happy to support the animals and a local farm. Would recommend to any animal lover.

Had the best time on The Carter Farm with Amy, Reagan, and Farmer Ron. Such great hosts and so lovely. Answered so many questions and let us spend time with all of the farm animals. What a fun and welcoming place. Wonderful experience not far out of the city. Can’t wait to go back again!
