I cannot say enough good things about Herman’s. We always go there for our special occasion meats. They never hesitate to fill our orders. Their cuts are amazing, tasty burgers, and probably the best brats we’ve ever had (we even lived in Germany). They’re the only place around I’ve found with the Teres Major cut as well. You can’t beat the prime rib roast either. If you haven’t checked this place out, you’re missing out.

I've purchased bulk meat from here multiple times and it was always a great process. The attention to detail is wonderful and the quality of the meat exceeded expectations. The prices are also competitive. Overall a great place to buy meat and I intend to keep coming back.

Great butcher shop! Very friendly and knowledgeable group of experts. I was in the area from Montana and gave them a try. I'll be back next vacation!

From time to time we frequent Herman’s for special occasions. This week, we wanted to cook rack of lamb. Instead of heading to crowded big box store, I decided to splurge and brought two racks. The gentleman behind the counter explained he had just prepared the racks I was buying. I got them home and WOW such quality. So fresh. I cooked them up straight away - never tasted such good lamb - ever. Not at home - not out at Resturant. Just WOW. Thanks for having such great meats. Locally sourced. Love you guys are so close and have such great meats. Thanks you again.

A classic butcher experience. The block is right in front of you, and your order is cut and prepared as you watch. Beef, chicken, and even some more exotic fare are yours for the asking. The staff is friendly, the cutters know their job, and the prices aren't too bad for what you get. Definitely a place to come back to.

Fantastic quality. Fresh delicious meat from local farms is hard to beat. Great customer service and you get to feel good about supporting a local butcher, which there are not very many of. Besides raising the animal yourself, it doesn't get much more ethical than this. Happy to trust Herman's for my cooking needs. They also have stock available, as well as fresh produce. This place is where I'll be buying meat from now on.

We’ve been coming to Herman’s for 35 years and feel endlessly fortunate to have had access to such high quality meats for our family all these years. It’s more than a store. It’s an institution, and a part of the community. With so many absentee landlords and generic, big box shopping experiences, it’s great to still have such a unique and personal option, where the quality is assured by the owner and staff. Once you purchase their excellent meats, local, grass-fed, antibiotic-free and hormone-free meats and poultry here, it will be difficult to go back to any other store. This place & its customer service is PHENOMENAL! I trusted Mrs. Herman (I can’t remember her first name) to make my thanksgiving turkey for my first thanksgiving EVER & was not disappointed! It was amazing! Her brother even dropped it off to me on his way home ❤️ I would HIGHLY recommend getting your meats for this upcoming holiday season from here, I know I will be! This is the “old school, home cooked, family owned” type of business and environment we all love. If you’re between this meat shop and another, choose Herman’s and support a local business. I am looking for sirloin cap cut (pincanha) the other day. Called in to ask they said they have it instock. Gone there a lady serve us who i assume is the owner said they dont have the steak it could be misunderstanding but she can help me order it and she will give me a call back. So I decided since Im already here I might as well get a steak so i chose ribeye cut which i did cook that taste great. The following day, I called in to check on them regarding my sirloin (picanha) steak I was treated by someone with rude attitude saying "I dont understand what youre saying" and began hang up on me which I called again but then I was hangup on again. *Update* They did prepared the cut we requested for us, did picked up the day after. There is some misunderstanding but they are great and friendly. Thank you!
