The beef is phenomenal and high-quality, and the family is incredibly kind. We live ~1.5 hours away and drive to pick up our bulk order about 2x per year. Last winter, we were driving through on an extremely cold day when our trailer tire popped. Luckily, we had landed right at the farm as we were picking up our beef on our way home. Jason helped us out immensely when he didn't have to. Thank you, Helstrom Farms, for helping us and feeding our family. Support this local farm if you can!

Very clean meat and very tasty. Probably one of the best grass fed beef I’ve ever had/ tasted. There’s big differences between this and those disgusting grocery store meat. Waiting for Shipping was a bit frustrating since I only live 3 hours away, and it said the order was in stock, but the quality of beef made up for it when it arrived. Prices are a bit high including shipping for the quantity of meat, but overall I’m satisfied with the purchase. Will definitely order again.

As a beef jerky and beef stick connoisseur, I can honestly say theirs are some of the freshest and best tasting beef sticks I've ever had. I was happily surprised to see their beef sticks in a local store near me and will certainly be buying more. Amazing!

Helstrom meats is the highest quality beef around. Their sustainable farming practices produce some of the best tasting amd nutrient dense beef I've ever had. Far superior to our recent butcher box order. I love knowing exactly where my food comes from, and having direct communication with the source of your food is unlike anything you can get from a grocery store.

We have had both beef and chickens from Helstrom Farms. The product tastes great and they use practices that are good for the land. They seem to have a really great family as well. We enjoy buying locally so we know what is in our food and direct from the farmer is best.

Helstrom Farms is an awesome company we have on the iron range. Their beef is delicious and priced perfectly. They are friendly and welcoming and their farm is wonderful. If you have a chance stop out for a tour. Great people!

I recently found this farm while doing a web search for grass fed beef near me. My husband took a ride to the farm and met the family that owns it. He purchased 10 lbs. of ground beef so we could give it a try and see what we thought. I was impressed with the great packaging right off the bat! It was nicely labeled and vacuum sealed for extra freshness (I love this) and after cooking the beef, I have to say, we loved it! Needless to say, my husband gave them a call and made a nice order that included different cuts of beef along with a few chickens (also great!). My husband said that this family is very nice and knowledgeable. If you are looking for great, natural beef and chicken, I highly recommend Helstrom Farms!

I ordered the beef sampler, beef short ribs, and the chicken package. Everything arrived quickly still frozen solid and all the meat is very nicely packaged. I made short ribs tonight with the recipe on the website and they were phenomenal. I will be ordering again.

Jason and his wife are wonderful! They were helpful and the meat was frozen solid and wrapped in clear heavy duty packaging. Perfect! Will definitely buy from them again.

I've reached out to a dozen or so farms and Jason has been the kindest owner by far. Great customer service and I look forward to being a patron for a long time to come. A beautiful generational farm! I understand the Helstrom’s have been farming for a long time and understand their local environment and seasonal conditions. The French would say the “Terroir” or soil is appreciated here and the farm is run with the highest integrity!

Amazing meat!! I really couldn't eat beef anymore, then we figured out it was a lot of the chemicals thier putting in store meat. I am so happy to find this wonderful fresh farm food!!! Thank you Cant wait to order more!!!

Will never again buy anything from them. The ribeyes were the worst I have ever had. Nothing but fat! Now I don’t even want to try the rest of the package I bought from them.
