We’re happy with how our cow was processed, however, when I dropped her off I asked to keep the skull. I told the guy at the counter, the gentlemen who seemed to be in charge told the guy unloading the cow we wanted to keep it. It didn’t come home with us when I picked up our order, I called they said they had it, so I came up from San Antonio to get it and low and behold it wasn’t there. They said it was skinned after questioning if I told them about it when I dropped her off. I was pretty upset driving all the way up there just to find out it was destroyed and they didn’t seem to care too much. I won’t be going back up there, too bad too because I was pretty pleased with everything until today.

The meat was nicely processed and packaged but don’t expect to see the amount of final processed meat that they quote you per pound when you pay their processing fee. Apparently they quote hanging weight before processing and you will get 50-60% of what they quote as the per pound price in finished meat. It would be helpful if anyone explained this up front instead of expecting people to know on their own without having that information going in.

This is a very clean and organized operation. I highly recommend them for all of your meat processing needs.

Had a couple of really good varieties of sausage from here, and the ground beef was really good too. Give them a try.

Decent price, good turn around time but did not recieve my spare ribs! After 20 emails back and forth, they were going to give me a set of spare ribs and deliver it to me. They said they had given our number to the boss and he was going to deliver it. That was 2 weeks ago and still no call. I don't understand how you lose 2 spare ribs!! The best piece of the pig in my opinion. Ridiculous and would not recommend them to anyone!

Best Jalapeno Cheese Summer Sausage "anywhere". Better than my own homemade... PS. Kips regular and black pepper bacon 🥓 is off the charts too.I try to buy a 2 month supply/stock-pile each time I go in. Love that fresh smokehouse smell when I walk in their doors.

Harvest House is a family owned business that is worth the drive, no matter where you live. Even when I lived in Houston, I would drop my deer off there and then drive 4 hours to go pick them up when they were finished. All of their products are excellent, and their summer sausage is hands down the best I have ever had. Make sure you try the "Jalapeño/Cranberry" summer sausage, it is amazing! They have after hours drop-off for your wild game, and what you drop off is what they give back. They do not mix and match customer's animals, like other processors tend to. They also offer USDA certified processing of cattle, pigs, goats, etc. Just make sure to call well in advance to set-up a processing date.

In my hunting career, I have had big game processed at places all over the US, and Harvest House did one of the best jobs that I have experienced anywhere. The people were friendly, the deer was processed very fast, and the results were great - especially the sausage! I would definitely recommend this place.

Very friendly and professional. We did all link sausage. If you eat it uncooked like a jerky it is very good. But it is over smoked to cook. The meat is dry and the casing is very hard and even sharp and hurts to chew. Not enough fat either. Would not go back.

I was going to the same place for the past 10 years to get my whitetail processed, until a good friend recommended Harvest House. Now I will be going to Harvest House until I kick the bucket! Great customer service, great quality. I could eat their stuff all day everyday!

We stopped into the harvest house on our way thru town for a fishing tournament. I didn’t realize it at the time but they closed at 5 and we had walked in at 5:45. Instead of turning us away, they were very helpful and helped us complete our order. There is something to be said for superior customer service and the Harvest House has just that!

Harvest house is amazing. We looked around for a place to process our beef after bad experiences at other places. Harvest house does the job perfectly. The packaging and service is great. We will not be going anywhere else

They lost some of my venison due to a computer problem. They found most of it. It took a while to get their attention, but they are making it right. Sausage is right tasty.

1st deer was great. Really like the long link sausages. 2nd deer over smoked and dry. Probably won’t be back because shouldn’t have been packed.

Processed a whole beef for us. Very happy with the packaging and labeling. Can't complain about anything, great customer service and timely.

Any time we're in the area we stop and stock up, they have Excellent quality meats at great prices, even more so than HEB and y'all know that's sayin somethin!
