Harper's Meats

They have processed several deer for me since finding them last year. The quality of work, value, and service are all excellent! On top of that they are just really nice people to do business with. Britt did a European mount for my daughter last year and same as above, great job at a very fair price. They are my processor of choice in upstate SC.

Brett did awesome job on taking care of us while dropping off a deer made sure everything was done right. Does awesome skull mounts in good timing as well

We feed our dog a raw diet. Harper’s makes a great nutritional raw dog food at an affordable price. Our girl loves it!!

My husband and I went here for the first time on 6.7.25. Walked in and the first thing we saw was a woman with long dark straight hair at the meat cutting machine. Hair not tied back, no hair net. We walked out immediately. Please have your employees dealing with food wear a hair net! Or at least have them put it up.

Came by Sat, and the young lady was sitting on the counter of the shop. She cut up some meat for me, did not wash her hands or put on gloves. No hair net, etc. Not good. I am like another post that was made, please make sure your workers have hair nets, wash hands, and wear gloves. Not sanitary!!!

Very happy with choices of cuts . At a great price !! No other place i would purchase meats. Awesome!!!

Pros: Lots of options, especially for hard to find things (i.e. rabbit, goat, oxtails, beef ribs). Decent prices on most items. Great customer service. Good deals on bundles. Cons, no fresh options, everything is frozen, no counters to view meat options, and some prices are not better than grocery store prices on some items. Good place to shop all in all.

Top grade meats cheaper than the high grocery store prices! We'll be back to stock our freezer.

Will my son inlaw call them about getting a pig done up an they said yes they would be there, now everyone runs on a seclude an when a TIME is set for a drop off especially on a pig in May heat then they should be there an they weren't ended up wasting a whole pig oh they did call about 2 hours later say to bring it by but by then meat was wasted, so I would say that I'm not a fan on Harper's, though I never been in the place they cost me about 100lbs in pig meat, as a business that butchers y'all should know that hog meat don't last in the sun, may try them again an rewrite this review but for now Harper's dose not stand behind there word

Everything was packaged, sorted, labeled correctly, and the half a hog was perfect, the breakfast sausage was seasoned just like back in the day perfect, I'd give this butcher shop a 10 of 10 for sure

Harper's is my go-to place for fresh fatback, bacon, and sausage. Fresh made wholesome dog food. Bout anything you want . Fish, chicken ,pork. Beef. Great Steaks. Most all the time, everything is cut while you wait, or you can call and have them fix the order for you. This is a true meat market / Butcher. Processing meat. Process deer. Very Reasonable on their pricing. To me, it is great quality, clean, and family owned. Hometown friendly. Check'em out. I give them 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.

This place is awful. The quality of meat is bad. The filets and ribeyes that I bought were just glued together scrap pieces of meat. Do not go here!

Me and my wife went and got a box of meats and this place has the best steaks ever. We will definitely be back. Would definitely rate this place 10 stars.

I really can't say enough about this place. They are good & honest people, processing and selling fresh meat that actually TASTES like it's supposed to taste; all at incredibly reasonable prices. We're conditioned to grab up a random slab of something or another, shrink wrapped onto a styrofoam tray (left to bathe in harsh fluorescent meat-case lighting) from the back of a big chain grocery store. We take whatever we can get and we pay way too much for it. Harper's has a clear, easily read list of prices. The cashiers are incredibly patient with those unsure of what cuts they want or of HOW MUCH they need of what they want. They even accept EBT. Support small business and give your money to people who deserve it.

Love this place! Have great meats! You love fatback? Well here you go. They will slice it to your thickness!! WOW thought we would never have that again. Have to give this place a try. Prices are very reasonable. Good service . Worth the drive. Load the freezer up!!!!

We have been a few times now and have also introduced others who are now faithful customers. Really great folks and very helpful. No reason to go anywhere else for your meats.
