Harmons Daybreak

This is by far my favorite Harmons store. Think Erewhon but less expensive. The staff are incredibly helpful, the food is wonderful, and the shopping experience has definitely been streamlined for maximum enjoyment. The aisles are a bit taller than most, making you feel like you are in a shop of wonders, free to explore and enjoy. Very clean environment, and the Gelato is delicious!

Deli worker Jen was amazing. I went in and got coffee and was having a bad day and she made me smile and made my day. She is so kind and sweet. I will be coming back just to see her. Love that the staff is so friendly and kind and put the customers first. Thank you so much. Changing my opinion i went in for my morning coffee and found out that they let the one person who brighten my day go.

I come into this Harmons only because of one person. That is the lady in the coffee named Jenn. I avoid this place every other day. I love that she always has a smile and makes you feel welcome. After going there twice she remembers my order every time I go in. Some of the management ( an asian lady with a nametag ) look at you like you are beneath them never smile or say hi. But Jenn makes it worth going. I just found out from, some grumpy old man working in the bread section, that Jenn no longer works there. I will not be back. They should take notes from her. She was always polite and smiley while the rest of the management people are always scowling.

Expensive, but you're paying for the convenience of grabbing a forgotten ingredient for a recipe, or a burger to eat at the nearby beach, or a Gelato break with the grandkids. It's clean, and the workers are so helpful and friendly. All forms of payment are accepted. We've attended a few cheese classes here and left with overflowing goody bags. This is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Hidden away on the second floor is a small cafe that has one of the most flavorful hamburgers and fries I’ve had. The burger comes with no toppings where next to the counter you add all the trimmings desired. It’s very quaint with plenty of space.

All the staff and management that I had come into contact with were extremely helpful, and courteous. I didn't wait any longer than three minutes for a manager to find me after he was paged. ( Will was his name.) But he pointed me in the right direction of what I was looking for and was able to give me extra information that turned out to be much more helpful than I think either of us had expected. One of the bakers went out of his way to help me find the products that I might have liked and he was correct as well. The store was very clean, and well organized. The wait time to check out was very minimal and was faster than some of the less busy Harmons that I've been to. Each member of the staff I encountered were very welcoming, and being covered in tattoos, that's something that I rarely get. Definitely recommend. Great shopping experience.

BEST BREAD EVER. I was never a big fan of Sourdough, but they have it mastered. most amazing taste, tangy,fluffy and incredible crust! I'm hooked.

I cannot say enough good about this place and its employees. Especially the managers Rachel and Dani. I have seen them handle everything the chaos of teenagers acting like it’s a hangout spot to entitled “residents” acting like the parking lot should be available for them at anytime because they live there. I honestly don’t know how they do it and think they deserve a raise for putting up with it all. I also want to give a shout out to Angelic and the pharmacists for always being amazing. We truly feel loved and appreciated when we go there.

The store has a dog tie up station out front. Today someone had tied their dog up and left for minimum of 35 minutes. It was 101° out. Multiple people complained and called the store to advise this poor animal was without water and having a very difficult time in the heat. I called after walking back out and the lady proceeded to give me a bit of an attitude and basically said they would handle it after stating he was given water... As i was leaving another lady stop an employee and complained again. I understand that its not necessarily the stores responsibility BUT if your going to provide a spot for animals to be tied up with a patch of fake grass you should at least validate the MULTIPLE people who were concered for the animals safty and you should do it with out an attitude.

I did a lot of construction on this building. I went back to check it out after it was all done. I must say what a beautiful little harmons this turned out to be. Has everything and them some as a big store. So yes if you are in the area. I'm sure they have something great for you to enjoy. Parking is free but limited. Don't park and go to the lake or you will be towed or fined. So grab some food go hit up daybreak park and enjoy the lake and ducks and grab a sunset. In the west. A+
