We stayed here in our travel trailer. Gus and family run a quiet, peaceful homestead with happy animals. Purchased eggs and bacon from them.. Store bought cannot compare!!! The farm is preparing a special Halloween activity in the next week or so. Check it out as they have lots and lots of decorations for the kids!
Took my students to the Happy Life Ranch today and it exceeded my expectations! First and foremost, Gus and Melissa are wonderful people; easy to communicate with, personable and knowledgable. We were able to see all the animals on the property and even got to collect the day’s eggs which was a fun and new experience for my students. They allowed us to sample their dairy products and take home fresh eggs. This was an amazing experience for myself and my students, and I will be recommending the Happy Life Ranch to everyone I know!
I visited Happy Life Ranch, and their commitment to excellence is unmatched! They meticulously ensure their animals are pasture-raised and fed only the highest-quality diet, even prohibiting visitors from bringing outside food that could be fed to the animals. I purchased pasture-raised eggs, pork sausage, whole chickens, beef fat, stew meat, peach milk, and chocolate milk—all absolutely delicious! In an era where finding truly clean, healthy food is challenging, I wholeheartedly recommend this farm for its exceptional pasture-raised products!
Gus and Melissa and very welcoming and friendly people. I loved hearing about how the farm originated and the clean practices they use to run it. We need more of this. The raw milk is amazing! Don't walk, run to Happy Life Ranch and find out for yourself.
Ordered and picked up delicious food , eggs, milk and meats and was able to see the ranch and how they treat the animals ethically and with compassion
We stayed here overnight in our RV via Harvest Hosts. We had an absolutely incredible time!! Gus (owner) is a wonderful, super friendly guy and is awesome with kids. He gave us a tour of the entire farm and my daughters (3 and 6) got to see and touch piglets, chickens, goats, sheep, an alpaca... They were THRILLED! We also met Toby the friendly sheep - he joined us for the rest of the tour, trotting along like a dog and our girls snuggled him and fed him. Very cool. We learned SO much about farms. This morning we woke with the rooster's call and ate the freshest eggs I've ever tasted. Then we collected eggs from the henhouses and my girls begged to stay another day. 😂 All of the animals here are truly happy and we can't wait to enjoy the free-range meat and 4 dozen eggs we purchased here. They make/ grow absolutely everything from the plants the animals eat to the spices used in the chicken patties and sausages. (Side note, the animals you meet at the ranch yield eggs, wool, etc. They're not for eating - those animals are at a different location up the road.) HIGHLY recommend a stop at Happy Life Ranch!! BTW you can come pick up eggs any time. The store is behind the house and there's a place to leave money. $4/ dozen or $10 for 3 dozen. Fresh eggs don't require refrigeration so stock up!!! Thank you so much Gus for your awesome hospitality!!! We'll definitely be back!
The quality and taste of the meat is so good, we keep coming back for more! Plus some other add on’s like milk and eggs are great to have on hand. Gus and Melissa are very friendly and we love supporting their ranch! It’s also a very sweet experience every time we pick up an order because we get to see the animals grazing as we drive in. The chickens also come running up if they’re nearby. My family and I have been trying to stay away from the grocery store as much as we can and this is definitely a HUGE step in the right direction and it’s absolutely worth the scenic drive!
This was my first experience buying fresh lamb from a ranch to cook on the spit for Greek Easter. The ordering process was made easy with their website and the communication after the order was placed was impeccable. And above all, the lamb was DELICIOUS! Will be coming here for fresh meat from now on. Christos Anesti, Happy Life Ranch!
This was our first time getting meat from Happy Life ranch the pork chop was excellent but the chicken and steaks tasted very old and very chewy very disappointed for the price we paid don't think we will be back unhappy camper
Awesome experience! We got fresh eggs and meat on our first visit. Easy to order through their website portal and excellent communication.
