Half-Mile Farm

We love Inn at Half Mile Farm. No pets and no children under a certain age make for a nice couples retreat. Food in the bar is delicious. Thanksgiving meal was very disappointing, but you win some/you lose some. If we go again, we’d skip any large organized dinners and just head into town. Otherwise really wonderful, as always.

This property is absolutely gorgeous—immaculately maintained and clearly designed with care and attention to every detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our stay enjoyable. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, with beautifully kept grounds that invite you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Breakfast was served fresh and delicious, adding an extra touch of hospitality each morning. We also appreciated the shuttle service to town, which made exploring stress-free and convenient. Overall, a truly special place that balances charm, comfort, and thoughtful service. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed at the Inn This past weekend and had absolutely the best time!! Page and her staff crushed it and went beyond the call of duty to make our wedding weekend perfect! The food, the rooms, the housekeeping, the staff all were five stars!! I would highly recommend this location if you want to go to Highlands and see the beautiful surroundings and great shops in town. I will definitely be back. Can’t wait to visit again.!!

We attended a Darren Nicholson concert at the farm. It was terrific. The grounds were absolutely amazing. The concert was moved inside the barn due to rain. This building was beautiful. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing place. The grounds are beautiful, the food delicious and staff makes you feel like the most important guest on the property. A hidden gem we will most certainly return to for years to come!

Stayed here for our 45th anniversary in February. Loved it, very special. The main dining hall had the Super Bowl on and the couples staying were great company. The hotel staff were all very friendly. We will be back!
