Referring to the Steak Shack. My orders are almost always wrong. The staff is unfriendly as hell, normally. Not every time but consistently. I truly am a generous tipper because I very much appreciate those who handle my food. When, even as I tip big, I can't count on a smile and my orders are consistently wrong, why would I continue to count on quality. Especially when the $$$ are lofty to begin with?!
I ordered the ribeye, medium. It was prepared as ordered, looked good and the flavor a little heavy on the salt, but otherwise good. The steak was tough enough that even the huge steak knife did not cut it, easily. Nearly every bite contained gristle. I have never had such a tough ribeye before. For the cost, I expect a better piece of meat than I was served.
Bought a whole hog from Jacob Hartter last fall. Hack's did the processing. The chops, pork steaks, etc have been great. Finally had a ham, seeing as it was Easter. The flavor was incredible. Thanks for the great job in curing/smoking it.
Hacks takes pride in their work and it shows. Excellent sausage, hams and meat packing. Our family loves their deer sticks, similar to beef sticks but soooo much better. Reasonably priced, hometown proud.
Hacks is awesome. I had a tight turn around being from out of state on a deer I needed processed before returning home. They had it done on time and did an excellent job. They even caped out the buck for me. Highly recommend!
Heard good things about Hacks. I had a hog butchered. Not happy with much of it. I know lockers are full up and you have to wait to get in. Thats why we tryed this place. I will never come back again.
Amazing customer service! Brought in a couple wild hogs and a deer to be ground up for snack sticks and summer sausage. Turned out amazing and in a reasonable time.
