Guerra’s Italian Market

I am today's year old discovering this lovely spot in my city. Truly a Sunday treat being native, I love experiencing new places.. and they have been here forever I guess. Totally worth coming out the house for! All the items are super fresh and its so astetically pleasing. Cheers!

This place is awesome, bar none; I bought a prime sirloin and some hanger steak and both were excellent. But that thick prime sirloin — wow. We gave it a nice rub with Montreal steak seasoning, grilled it and it was pure perfection. Sure the steaks are expensive, but I appreciate that condiments and other items are very reasonably priced.

To me this is easily the best butcher shop in San Francisco . I am a very discerning person I know all the best shops and restaurants in town. Guerras has the finest cuts of very high quality meat and many shop specialties that are amazing. There really isn’t anything that is subpar in the entire shop. Not only is the quality top notch but the service is also excellent. Very friendly knowledgeable service. The attitude here is true humility, kindness, and integrity. I’ve seen people from all over the world here who have come for the high quality that Guerra’s offers. This is one of San Francisco’s hidden gems .

Tried a few butcher shops in San Francisco; folks here at Guerra are extremely knowledgeable and always helping customers to pick the best cut they want. Always give customers cookies, roasting, … instructions and their store is very clean and neat. No need to mention about the quality and f their products 💯

We got the Italian Combo and the Guerra's roast beef. The staff was really nice to assist in selecting a sandwich to try! It did come as a surprise that I could get the Daily Special on a Sunday - we realized the price just wasn't as low as if we ordered it on the day. The shop was really cute. If we ever need some sides for a meal, this will be one of our spots.

This is the only place I go for meat. Excellent selection, top quality. They also have a good selection of wine, cheese, bread. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

A must visit hole-in-tne-wall! You know it's going to be good when you see two smokers in front. And you won't be disappointed! We were in the mood for pastrami, so we went with K Line and the T Line which also has smoked turkey. Both sandwiches were excellent, the smokiness of the pastrami really comes through. Both came Sams way with the works; L, T, O, P, garlic spread with the chipotle dressing on the side (it was so good we put on despite the overuse of chipotle these days). There is certainly no skimping on the ingredients, and the flavors melded perfectly. Throw in a bag of chips and a drink and you have the makings of great picnic! The M Line is the most popular, smoked tri tip; that will definitely be my next sandwich!

Best Italian sandwich among all the sandwiches I have tried in SF. Here is why - bread is so fresh, airy and full of flavor - cold meat is so good, not too salty so you can taste deep flavor of the meat - the other ingredients inside the bread are also very fresh. The overall the taste is clean, allows you to taste all the ingredients which are so amazing . Also, this place has amazing selection of meat, fish and deli. Love this place !!

The staff always makes us feel so welcome when we visit! We picked up porkchops and the quality was amazing!
