Groff's Meats

The best smoked ham ever! It isn’t a holiday dinner without one of their hams and their local apricot preserves for the glaze. It’s a small business with fresh meats and homemade sausages. They even make their own beef and turkey sticks. You can even find homemade pies and chicken stock in their freezer. It is absolutely worth visiting. You won’t be disappointed.

Be aware that they close at 6 PM on Fridays even though Google says 7 PM. I walked in there this evening at 6:00 PM (as well as some others customers) and one of the ladies behind the counter said loud enough for everyone to hear in a disgusted voice “don’t people know we close at 6” to which I said “sorry, Google says 7 pm” and she said “yeah we changed it” with a clear attitude so I put my ticket back and walked out to go to Stauffers. I feel like there is a much more professional way to tell people you are closed and not make people feel bad about coming into your store. I come here really often and love the quality of their meat but this interaction really turned me off to shopping here again

Im prolly just institutionalized cuz ive been going there for more than 25 years but its close to me and they have competitive prices on cheese and stuff. Seriously though they always have great staff and their own smoked turkey is the best in my opinion. I know everyone in my family loves all the beef stick varieties and their sausage flavors. My parents moved to west Virginia but they still stop by occasionally for certain items when they are nearby.

Awesome customer service, great selection of meats and an awesome deli. If you haven't been there I highly recommend you take a little drive and get a lot of quality meats. They will cut to order.

Love the fresh quality of their meats, reasonably priced. Fresh sliced lunch meats And cheeses as well.

This place is a must go for locals and out of towners. I love the Groff Sweet Baloney and the Cooper Black Pepper Cheese. Get enough to make sandwiches for weeks! The meats look incredibly fresh and nicely priced.

I am so happy to discover Groffs since moving to the area. Wonderful people, wonderful selection and quality of products.

Groff's is a local gem! Traditional old fashioned butcher shop. Good prices, and quality home smoked meats. Dog treats, candy and convenience store items are available as well, although the latter have higher prices. Would love to see more local cheeses, dairy, and produce offered here.

Great representation of Central PA meats and sides. The jerky is amazing!

Great butcher/deli with great staff. I drive 40 minutes to get cuts for the smoker and it is well worth it.
