I have been buying lamb from Grimshaw Farms for the last couple of years, and it's without a doubt a favorite of mine. Most people don't realize how much the breed of the lamb impacts the taste, and most lamb has a gamey taste, but not the breed Phillip raises. He primarily raises Katahdin sheep which have a more beefy flavor, but it still retains the flavor that people who love the taste of lamb crave. It also has amazing marbling and you can tell the animals have the perfect diet and are raised in an environment where they are very well cared for. My family calls it the "Wagyu of lamb" because the chops melt in your mouth like butter. They are seriously THAT good. I'll continue buying Grimshaw Farms lamb, and I encourage anyone to try it, even those who aren't fans of lamb!
