Greenvalley Meat Processors

I want to start off by saying my first experience wasn't the best. But mistakes happen. Somehow my deer was mistakenly given to someone else. But I want to very sincerely THANK Joe and them for being honest and up front. They explained it all and how it happned And nowba days Its hard to find good honesty people... I would highly still recommend them to anyone. The meat was packaged great. And they even gave me fresh sausage to makeup for what was left out from my deer. Highly recommend. I will return .

I love Greenvalley. I have been getting my deer processed here for years and have never had an issue. Packaging is very good and properly labeled. Their summer sausage is fantastic. They will be my processor for life.

Everything was very well organized and clean. I appreciated the fact that it was not wrapped in butcher paper like many places do. Additionally, there was no deer hair on the meat. You also have a variety of options for your ground venison between breakfast sausage, summer sausage, jalapeno, jalapeno/cheddar sausage. Highly recommend this place for central VA hunters.

Joe and his employees are always professional, friendly and efficient. The processing area is always clean. The meat is neatly packaged and labeled consistently. We've been going there for years and consider each of them our good friend. There aren't many businesses such as this still going. I encourage anyone needing their own animal processed to use Green Valley- Cindy and Ken Gilbert.

They are always kind, knowlegable and clean. The finished, packaged product is consistently labeled and cut very well and to our specifications . As a bonus, it's a pretty drive to their facility. Highly recommend !

Please do not go to this meat processor...we had our hog butchered there and asked specifically for two hams and didn't even receive one. They said it must have been a "miscommunicated situation" and everything was made into sausage. That's code for "we stole a great portion of your meat". If you're new to having your meat processed in the area of Monroe, VA do not go here. Find a good Mennonite butcher please.

Very nice to have a local meat shop.Im not a big hunter but have used this place a few times in the past.Just had a deer done.Ony took a few days and a week b4 x-mas.Im the mist of covid and hunting season. They done Great

Highly recommend GreenValley. I have used them for several years now. They get all my business. This year I will have 14 beef and 8 hogs processed there.
