Green Ridge Farm Market

We recently visited Green Ridge Farm Market, and while the market itself was nice, I want to share my thoughts specifically about the petting zoo. The petting zoo has a few animals, and it’s fun for kids to get up close and feed them. However, I noticed something that really concerned me: the animals seemed very hungry. As soon as anyone walked by, they rushed to the fence hoping to be fed. Visitors can feed the animals using food from vending machines, which charge one quarter for about one -two tablespoon of food. While feeding animals can be a fun experience for children, it felt wrong that the animals are kept hungry just so people are encouraged to buy food and feed them. In my opinion, animals should be properly fed and cared for whether or not visitors buy food for them. I hope the farm management can take this feedback seriously and improve the care for their animals.

Amazing farm store where there is a variety of products like produce, milks cheese, eggs and meat! We bought eggs that were freshly laid in the same day, with very reasonable price. The staff (owner?) was very friendly. They also have a little “petting zoo” where you can feed and interact with the animals (goats, chicken, donkey, ducks)! Love this place and encourage you all to come support the local farm!

Love this place about 40 minutes away from my home. Their prices are very good and enjoy the petting zoo. I plan returning often. They take cash and cards which is nice.

Cool place- great selection of fresh veggies, meat and dairy. Self service / honor system was my favorite part, there is a POSale so cards are accepted. Prices are a bit steep, to regurgitate the honesty. Still a neat experience and satisfied customer gained (prices will make me go elsewhere regularly.. I work hard for my money, too)

Great little local family run farm. Good spot to bring the kids on a break to see the animals, they’ll love petting them! The family was insanely nice and engaging. They also breed pups me and my family took home 2 beautiful golden retriever puppies! They were registered and vaccinated, good price too.

Came by to check out the famous apple cider donuts. Very disappointed with it. Very heavy in flour and small for $1 each. We tasted glazed , and cinnamon donuts which r supposed to b done with apple cider but no taste of that. The weather was great and if u have the time.u could see some animals out.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and a neighbor told us about the farm. We love it!! So fun! Fresh groceries, petting soon, homemade cider donuts and lots of fun! Our three kids had a blast and the cheese, fruit and donuts we purchased were delicious and fresh!

Great prices on high quality dairy products and farm fresh vegetables and fruit. Farmers are willing to set aside milk and eggs if you need a larger order. Always friendly people, clean store, and delicious food. My kids love to see the animals in the petting zoo when we stop to pick up our milk, eggs, and yogurt. The picture of the store is from Dec. 23 - no lines or trouble parking! I was the only one there at the time.

Never had eggs so good they almost made me cry, until now, the best eggs I've had in a while.
