Gourmet Market and Meats of Fernandina

Omg. After being so disappointed in steaks here in Fernandina, we stopped in gourmet market on Saturday (just over the bridge westbound) We spoke with Mary who walked us through their offerings. We got a choice ribeye (a step down from prime). Grilled it tonight and It was delicious, tender and very flavorful. We also got a cooked brisket again delicious. Don’t forget dessert, chocolate chip cookies with sea salt. 😍😍😍. Please do yourself a favor and drop in to Gourmet Market.

The best meat store around. Everything is fresh and flavorful. They have fish, holiday meals, and desserts, too. The owners couldn’t be kinder. They took care of my dad after he bought hot dogs there and then had his car break down in the parking lot. Served him a delicious steak and teriyaki sandwich - even drove him home! Highly, highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've bought a variety of meats, seafood, and other products here. I love the sea bass, norwegian salmon, steak burgers, filet mignons, bacon, and weekend BBQ. Lots of great cheeses, crackers, condiments, etc.for charcuterie or snacking.Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.

This Gourmet Market and Meats is awesome for getting fresh food on the table . They've grown a lot since the old owners, and they've added tons of great local products. Every time I go there, I'm amazed by the new local products they've got. I was thinking about ordering takeout, but when I saw how affordable it was to feed my family with fresh, local ingredients, I decided to cook at home instead. I got top-quality local steak and fresh produce for the same price as a fast food meal for the whole family. It's a win-win! Pictures added from my Thai salad.

We absolutely love buying our meat from Gourmet Market. Items are always fresh and taste amazing. They have the best chicken hands down. We had been so frustrated with rubbery tasteless chicken at all the local grocery stores. Gourmet Market's breasts, tenders, and thighs always come out tender, juicy, and tasting like ACTUAL chicken. The employees are kind, attentive, personable and quick to serve you. If you aren't buying your meat here you're missing out.

The best pulled pork and brisket!! It sells out quickly so definitely recommend call early in the week to place your order. Great selections and prices. All meat is humanely raised and sourced. Crew is knowledgeable and friendly. We are definitely returning customers!

Best meat shop in Fernandina period. If you live or are vacationing on the island it’s worth the trip over the bridge! Huge salmon fillets and if you like steak they have a selection from prime to dry aged. I love this place.

Top notch. House made sausages are delicious. I get specialty hot sauces here as they keep a nice selection. Ii ended up getting more then what I want in for.

I will be back! What a nice selection of meats & specialty items. Phenomenal beef, hands down tastiest and of great quality compared to the supermarket. We also loved their smoked brisket, homemade sides, and the in house made beef jerky!! It’s a great one stop shop if you’re entertaining!! So glad to know about this hidden gem!!

We frequent the Gourmet Market and Meats shop on 200 next to the Pinch a Penny. The Market is always clean and the staff is extremely helpful. The quality of the meats is amazing and we have never been disappointed. We have on several occasions purchased some tomahawks steaks and they have been a huge hit. Our other favorite is the sausages. The jalapeño and cheddar sausages are amazing.

My dad lives in Fernandina, but I do not. I sent the owner of Gourmet Market and Meats an email to ask if she could help me create a gift basket for my dad. She really went above and beyond in helping me decide what to put in the basket and going out of her way to get things she didn't already have and deliver the basket for me. I would highly recommend this store!

This place is excellent. Their sausages and brats are delicious, along with beautiful cuts of beef and, best of all, Norwegian salmon. And don't forget to try their homemade jerky and smoked fish dips.

Great products, even had some dry aged steaks. Had to get one & slap it on the grill as soon as I got home & it did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing & I will definitely be going back more often!
