This is my third year ordering from Goose Pond Farms. We have ordered Beef, Lamb , Pork and Chickens oh and the fresh eggs. We have never been disappointed. I definitely recommend you give them a try. The website is very informative on the process.

This is our second year getting our Thanksgiving turkey from Goose Pond. We have established a new family tradition. It is hard to describe the difference in a fresh, pasture-raised turkey and a butterball. My teenage daughters, who typically don't like turkey, say that it's like eating "real turkey." No chemicals. No preservatives. No hormones. No sodium injections. Just a clean, fresh bird. There is a link on the website telling how to cook the turkey and if you follow it to the letter, the result is perfection and if you screw up like I did this year (cooked breast up instead of breast down) it is still wonderful. Get on this list. Reserve your turkey and enjoy.

I have been going to Goose Pond Farm for years to buy my chickens, beef, pork and lamb because they are naturally raised with no drugs. I have many allergies that wreak havoc in my body when I eat commercially raised meats. I have no issues when I eat this meat. The owner is a joy to work with!

We have been getting pastured meats from Goose Pond Farm for about 20 years now. If you want quality meats from humanely raised animals, you will want to make the extra effort to preorder. Charlie and Laura are very knowledgeable and willing to share their expertise if you are willing to learn.

I've purchased chickens here for many years. They are the freshest, best-tasting, most well-treated birds around. Farmer Charles Ritch offers excellent help and responds quickly to inquiries. Alabama is lucky to have this conscientious farm that offers healthy, clean food and is kind to its animals.

We previously ordered meat from this place and were satisfied, for the most part. I understand that this place is generally pre-order only. However, I made the "unforgiveable mistake" of calling to see if I could stop and purchase some meat if they had any available..maybe in the event it hadn't all sold via pre-order. The owner was arrogant and rude and talked to me in a way over the phone that was unprofessional and unprovoked. Is it really that big of a deal to call and check to see if any meat was available?? Really?? My family will never order from here again. There are numerous other choices and we'll go somewhere else.

I buy everything I can here. If you care about nutrition and the quality of your eggs, chicken, beef and pork - stop by. It is not cheap because everything is raised and processed correctly.
