Art in poultry! Simply the finest Chickens and Ducks you can find in the South East. When you open a fresh chicken from Good Wheel, you smell the land the bird was pastured on. Good Wheel eggs provide superior structure to baked goods and have a spherical yolk and firm white that will make you wonder how old the eggs you’ve been buying are. I cannot say enough good things about the product from Good Wheel or the fine people who work there.
My husband and I are sticklers for healthy, quality food and we have found Good Wheel Farm to be the best in town. We won’t buy eggs from anywhere else. After visiting the farm I can tell you that Michael truly is raising the healthiest animals possible and his land is thriving as a result.
Our favorite farm in the asheville area! My husband gets all our poultry (chicken and duck) and our Thanksgiving turkey from Good Wheel every year! Amazing customer service. Immensely enjoyed seeing the whole process at their farm dinner last year. We are loyal customers to Good Wheel at the north asheville tailgate market and will continue to be for years to come!
Best quality chicken around. I've visited the farm, Michael and his family go the extra mile in every aspect to ensure the healthiest, most natural environment for their animals. I don't buy eggs anywhere else.
A thoughtful, intentional, beautiful, calm, and wild place. Good Wheel Farm is how we’d hope all of our food producers choose to engage with the earth. The smoked duck wings are also outstanding.
Zero stars. I purchased a $42 chicken that I realized later included no giblets. I expressed frustration to the owners and was essentially told to deal with it and offered no concession. Won't be returning and don't recommend.
